You don't have to go to Tehran to find freedom of the press under
attack. In Massa, the editors of "Senza ragione" are on trial. They arenot professional journalists, but in their press they expressed
solidarity with Alfredo Cospito, cruelly locked up like hundreds of
other people in 41bis, and they reiterated their opposition to the war
wanted by the Italian government. ---- And the repression is being felt,
first and foremost against the anarchist movement, but not only.
Unfortunately, it will also be felt in 2025, defined as the year of
freedom by a newspaper that has always expressed the positions of the
owners, which from 1926 until about ten years ago was owned by the
Agnelli family, who after April 25, 1945 had to suspend publications due
to connivance with the Republic of Salò.
Today, like a hundred years ago, the regime that is about to be born
begins with the attack on the anarchist movement, then it will be the
turn of all the others. DDL 1660 is the ideal framework for a
large-scale repressive maneuver. In the meantime, the regime's
supporters are warming up their engines, continuing the war on young
people that has characterized it since the first measure: urban DASPO
and red zones to exclude the undesirables from the center. And the first
municipalities to adopt the new directive of the Minister of the
Interior are precisely those led by the PD...
