Nous relayons la pétition du collectif "Justice pour Djamel". Le 31 août 2024, à Cappelle-la-Grande (près de Dunkerque), Djamel Bendjaballah, un père de famille, a été tué sous les yeux de son enfant. Son meurtrier, Jérôme Décofour, n’avait cessé de proférer à son encontre des injures racistes et islamophobes et était proche en lien avec des groupes néonazis. Pourtant l’infraction retenue à ce jour n’inclut pas la reconnaissance explicite du caractère raciste de cet acte, ni la qualification d’assassinat. Ses proches se battent pour obtenir justice ! (EN) We are sharing the petition of the "Justice for Djamel" collective. On August 31, 2024, in Cappelle-la-Grande (near Dunkirk), Djamel Bendjaballah, a father, was killed in front of his child. His murderer, Jérôme Décofour, had repeatedly made racist and Islamophobic insults at him and was closely associated with neo-Nazi groups. However, the offense charged to date does not include an explicit recognition of the racist nature of this act, nor does it qualify as murder. His loved ones are fighting for justice!
