During the protest against the megabasins that took place in
Sainte-Soline on March 25, 2023, the crackdown by law enforcement leftmore than 200 people injured, and the late arrival of emergency services
worsened the condition of some. A few days later, four complaints
"against unknown persons" were filed against the people most seriously
physically injured: Serge's parents (who was in a coma at the time)
filed a complaint for attempted murder and willfully obstructing the
arrival of emergency services; Mickaël, for attempted murder and
willfully obstructing the arrival of emergency services;
Olivier, for willful violence resulting in permanent mutilation or
disability, committed by a person in a position of public authority with
the use or threat of a weapon; Alix, for willful violence committed by a
person in a position of public authority resulting in a temporary
incapacity for work of more than eight days.

an investigation into the "circumstances surrounding the most serious
injuries caused by law enforcement during the demonstration in
Sainte-Soline."

investigations are still unknown. They were successively announced in
December 2023, March 2024, and June 2024; in September 2024, Mr. Astruc
was replaced by Mr. Teillet.

December 2024, we demand that the silence surrounding police violence in
Sainte-Soline be finally broken.
