The Anarchist Federation of Espírito Santo denounces that, behind the
numbers of industrial and port growth, structures of exploitation
persist that condemn workers and peripheral communities to poverty.
While the State and corporations profit from the extraction of natural
resources and industrialization, people die of hunger, are victims of
structural violence, live on the streets or succumb to the despair of
suicide - symptoms of a society that prioritizes profit over life.
Industrialization, far from being synonymous with well-being, often
translates into precarious work, technological unemployment and
environmental degradation, as observed in regions impacted by mining and
agribusiness.

For FACA, the solution does not lie in superficial reforms or welfare
policies, but in breaking with capitalism and its oppressive
institutions. It is urgent to build autonomous alternatives, based on
self-management, solidarity and the equitable distribution of resources.
While the State continues to serve the interests of an economic elite,
the anarchist struggle points to popular organization, the defense of
territories and the creation of networks of mutual support. After all, a
system that sacrifices lives in the name of GDP will never be fair - and
it is against this system that we rise up.
