MAY 1, 2025: STATEMENT FROM THE CAPIXABA ANARCHIST FEDERATION (FACA)

Comrades, comrades and comrades!

The Capixaba Anarchist Federation (FACA) calls on all insurgents,
workers and fighters of Espírito Santo to unite to celebrate May Day
2025, a historic date of resistance and struggle of the international
working class. Reaffirming our commitment to direct action, autonomy and
the construction of a world free of hierarchies, we announce that we
will occupy the streets to denounce capitalist exploitation, state
oppression and all forms of domination.

May Day is not a day of celebration for employers, but of living memory
of workers' rebellions and demands for collective rights. In 2025, we
will transform this date into a space for agitation, solidarity and
popular organization. We will soon release the full program, with
debates, workshops, cultural interventions and street actions that will
reinforce our fight for a society based on mutual aid, social justice
and radical freedom.

While the powerful try to erase the combative character of this date,
we, anarchists, rekindle its revolutionary flame. We invite collectives,
autonomous unions, social movements and insurgent individuals to join
forces with us.
