Now that the most authoritative supporter of peace has passed away and
that expectations of Trump's decisive intervention for peace arebecoming increasingly stingy with results, it is necessary to ask
ourselves at what point the two wars are and with what prospects. ----
While the United States and Russia are negotiating, regarding Ukraine,
the concerns of US negotiators seem more motivated by the search for an
opportunity to disengage from the conflict, attributing the
responsibility for the defeat and failure of the negotiations to the
Ukrainians and more interested in the intention to do business with
Ukraine's resources; Russia welcomes the negotiation as a chance to see
what's on the plate and in the meantime ease the sanctions, gaining time
to continue fighting. Yes, because time is what Russia seeks and has,
while Ukraine has less and less of it.
Ukraine relies on the support of the so-called coalition of the willing,
a ragtag bunch of losing and imbecile leaders who have chosen to work to
the detriment of the interests and economies of their own countries.
After all, what can you expect from a coalition that seeks to repeat the
unfortunate, disastrous and criminal experiment of an alliance that
supported the cowardly Iraqi war, alongside the United States? Their
point of reference is the Ukrainian industrial economic apparatus, an
expression of which is the nationalist right of the country that focuses
everything on the development of the national war industry, willing to
sacrifice the entire Ukrainian people in order to fight and win its
battle. The alliance headed by the willing is strengthened by relations
with a composite power bloc, ranging from the anti-Russian American
Atlanticists defeated by Trump, to British Freemasonry, perhaps engaged
in a confrontation of opinions with the French one, as the recent trip
of Charles III of England to Ravenna demonstrates, in search of
alliances with Italian Freemasonry - as reported by the citizens of
Ravenna who did not miss the meeting. If this is true, we will soon see
the effects on the changing political opinions in Italy regarding the
Ukrainian issue and the war within the political alignments!
On the Ukrainian battlefield
On the battlefield, Russian pressure continues to grow. Having
eliminated the Kursk pocket and regained full control of Russian
territory, occupied by the Ukrainians, the four army groups that Russia
is deploying on the war front are redefining their strategic plans.
While the Northern one seems destined to expand the bridgehead already
opened in the Sumy region, the North-Eastern one will inevitably
strengthen the pressure towards the Kharkiv oblast, trying at the same
time to facilitate the operations for the completion of the recovery of
total control over the Donnesk oblast. The most difficult task is
certainly the one entrusted to the grouping of the Central zone that
will try to operate to divide the central war front, penetrating in
depth, dividing the Ukrainian defensive deployment in two both by
advancing and attacking in the direction of Kostjantynivk, with the
objective of reaching Kramatorsk and Slovjansk, whose control for the
Russians is essential. All this requires time and will not be easy
because it involves advancing in heavily garrisoned and fortified areas.
Therefore it will take time and not a little for this to be achieved
also because it is to be presumed that in the defense of these
objectives the Ukrainians will inevitably throw all their residual
resources. Time could be shortened if the Russians were to break through
the front, spreading towards the Dinipropetrovsk oblast, now within reach.
There is no doubt that the Southern group will continue the operations
already begun in the part of the Zaporizhia oblast not yet controlled by
Russia, moving up north and helping to close in a vice a non-significant
part of the Ukrainian defensive deployment. There are therefore all the
elements to think that the war will last a long time if the solutions
have to come from the battlefield.
Whatever mediation is reached during negotiations in the territories
claimed up to now, a referendum supervised by international observers
will have to be held, even if there is the possibility that with the
continuation of the conflict and the entry of the Russians into
Dinipropetrovsk oblast, the annexation of the latter will be added to
Putin's claims.
In the meantime, the country is dying, the rift of hatred between the
Russian and Ukrainian peoples is deepening, and the issues related to
the possibility of finding solutions to the objective problems present
on the territory are becoming more complicated. Today Ukraine is a torn
country, where a war is underway between confessional groups of
citizens, where civil liberties have been mortified by martial law both
with regard to the activity of political parties and trade unions,
behind an apparent freedom of thought and culture. But what is more
serious is the profound dissolution of the social structure in which
widespread corruption reigns, war speculation, made of sudden enrichment
and great poverty, the presence of material infrastructural ruins and
deep scars of the different ethnic groups that make up the country,
especially with regard to the Romanian and Hungarian minorities. A great
intolerance and concern is making its way in the central part of the
country, in the deep Ukraine where there is an ever-increasing awareness
of the immense problem constituted by reconstruction, while the massive
exodus of a quarter of the population, produced by the war, has caused a
demographic impoverishment that will be impossible to recover, even in
the space of twenty years. But there is more: the much desired
membership in the union threatens to facilitate the exodus of a large
number of citizens in search of a better life, with the introduction of
the country of free movement within the union. The desertification of
Ukraine caused by war events is proving impossible to contain in a
Europe in which the progressive and unstoppable demographic decline of
many of its territories prevails, while it is not excluded that a
ruinous defeat on the field will end up causing the national question to
explode also on the western borders, between the Romanian, Polish and
Magyar components of the country. Thus the effects of the rearmament of
the national states would be to use these new capabilities acquired in a
further conflict on European territory, in a sort of balkanization of
Ukraine.
On the Gaza and West Bank front
Looking at what is happening in Palestine and comparing the approach
towards the two conflicts by Western leaders, the disparity of treatment
emerges clearly with respect to the reference values both with regard to
human compassion for the victims of the conflict and respect for the
norms relating to the self-determination of peoples and the application
of international law.
The interest of the United States in supporting Israel as its sub-agent
for the Middle Eastern area is not questioned in the slightest and is
accepted with fatalism and resignation, to the point of transforming it
into a natural aspiration to exclusively manage the economic and
strategic interests of the area affected by the conflict. The massacre
of October 7 perpetrated by Hamas has caused and continues to cause
80,000 to 100,000 deaths, with no end to the conflict in sight; main
victims are women, children and the elderly, unable to escape the bombs,
the destruction, the massacres, the hunger, the diseases, the slow and
painful death, due to lack of care and with painkillers denied, while
every hospital or point of care and assistance is bombed and destroyed.
The Gaza Strip is a huge pile of rubble, of which there is no end in
sight, with a population reduced today to one and a half million
inhabitants, decimated by killings and diseases, who wander from one
handkerchief of territory to another, desperately searching for a
minimum of living space, to escape the bombings and bullets that come
from every side. All this while plans are being made for property
speculation and the construction of tourist resorts on their land, after
having forced this people to exodus. Nor is the situation in the West
Bank different, although deliberately less known, where every day, every
hour, massacres of the indigenous population are carried out, their land
is expropriated, their homes are occupied, without those responsible for
all this being punished, while they are supported and flanked by an army
in arms that completes the work.
The awareness of the horror and shame of what is happening emerges
clearly from the self-censorship of politicians and the press, which
hypocritically avoids talking about genocide, while it is quite evident
that this is what is happening before everyone's eyes. The conflict is
complicated by clashes on the Lebanese border where Israel
systematically destroys infrastructure and bombs the population, doing
the same in the areas around the Golan Heights front, taking advantage
of the dissolution of the Syrian state, of which Israel is ready to take
over territories to give life to the greater Israel, predicted by the Bible.
The increasingly clear goal of Israeli and international Zionism is the
forced exodus of all Palestinians from their land, their extinction as
physical persons as well, not only as a people with their own territory.
The West as a whole is complicit in this wickedness by cowardly
remaining silent about the lack of respect for all rights and by
accepting the violation of the principles that in words are the basis of
its deepest convictions.
How to get out of it
Peace in Ukraine is a priority objective, it is in the interest of the
European peoples. The rearmament policies adopted by them, even if
supported by decisions taken illegitimately, risk creating the
conditions for the political dissolution of the European Union, with the
end of every form of collaboration between the peoples of the continent,
reintroducing war as a tool for resolving conflicts between the
different national identities that do exist. It is necessary that among
the founding principles of the Union, in compliance with the aequis
comunità, the rights of equality between all citizens are respected,
regardless of their different linguistic and ethnic, as well as
religious, affiliations, precisely to guarantee that legal space for the
enjoyment of rights that is presented as the qualifying figure of being
together. Only in this way will it be possible to cut off the root
causes and reasons for the return of war between European countries and
there is no doubt that this would constitute the best defense against
any aggression, even external, while discrimination between citizens,
the repression of minorities foments internal and external conflict.
Granting full rights to the Russian-speaking minorities of the Baltic
countries, for example, is a way and at the same time a condition to
remove potential conflicts.
At the same time, what is happening in Gaza deserves all our commitment
and mobilization and every initiative starting from a decisive economic
boycott of Israel through isolation, the termination of all economic,
commercial relations and with the cultural and research institutions of
the country, while keeping open the channel of communication with
Israeli public opinion that must be induced to see prevail within it the
tendency today strongly minority to give life to a multi-ethnic and
multi-religious society in the country, which allows all those who live
there, belonging to any faith, to live in peace in the territories of
Palestine.
