Dear Statewatcher, We invite you to join us in celebrating the life and work of Statewatch founder, Director (1991-2020), Director Emeritus (2020-24) and investigative journalist, Tony Bunyan, who passed away on 9 September 2024. The celebration, co-organised by Institute of Race Relations, the Tony Bunyan Foundation and Statewatch, will bring together Tony’s friends and comrades to discuss his life, work and legacy. It will also be a chance to hear about the ongoing and future work of the organisations to which Tony dedicated so much time and energy. It will be held on Saturday, 13 September, from 1:00-5:30pm at Friends House, in London. You can find more details and register your attendance on the Eventbrite page.
