 We have received this text calling for the formation of an

internationalist anarchist network for revolutionary defeatism, which we
feel is important to relay. Dear comrades, We invite you to take a stand
on the proposal for a new Internationalist Anarchist initiative made by
the AnarCom Network and the Anarchist Communist Group, both based in the
United Kingdom. We hope to build on the contacts and relationships
established in Prague and with other internationalist anarchists at
national and international events. The aim is not to create a new
organization, but to provide a network for revolutionary
internationalists to meet and build a libertarian hub against
imperialist wars and propaganda, while also being able to cooperate
where we can on meaningful activities. On a practical level, we want to
show that as revolutionary internationalists, we can, in addition to
political perspectives and propaganda, contribute in a concrete
(/material) way to the broader struggles of our class. For example, by
raising funds to support those who refuse to fight, deserters, and our
networks of comrades who work with them. We present the following
statement as our founding proposal and ask you to consider signing it
and collaborating across traditions and borders against capitalist wars
and capitalist peace!

"The Network of Internationalist Anarchists is: For revolutionary
defeatism in all states at war!"

Will: Support war resisters, draft evaders, deserters, and conscientious
objectors!

Call for: A major libertarian internationalist initiative to counter
militarist propaganda! A nuclear catastrophe is looming! The ruling
classes of both "East" and "West" are charlatans whose thirst for power
and profit increasingly relies on the war industry.

The self-proclaimed West is developing scenarios for a new world war.
For them, the "free world" is waging an existential battle against
"autocracies" increasingly identified with Orientalist stereotypes that
threaten to destroy our so-called "civilization."
Nations in the "democratic" camp, such as Ukraine, Israel, and Taiwan,
are hailed as waging the same global battle of "good guys" against
"evil." This logic goes so far as to place Syrian Islamists on the side
of the "good guys."

On the other side, Russia, China, and Iran, totalitarian states ruled by
secret police and security forces in the hands of the party or clerics.
Each violently represses our class's struggle against austerity and the
march toward war. For a libertarian internationalist initiative against
the militarist propaganda disseminated daily, which presents our
supposedly "good" armed states as if they were a humanitarian enterprise!
We must offer practical and moral support to war resisters, draft
resisters, deserters, and groups that adopt internationalist positions,
especially in war zones.

It is fundamental to support refusal, conscience, desertion, and
insubordination on all sides of the war fronts, for revolutionary defeatism.

Russia and Ukraine themselves recognize that desertion is a major
obstacle to their deadly programs.
This support, within the framework of our internationalism, encourages
initiatives aimed at challenging nationalism and borders, territorial
sovereignty, the nation-state or its proto-state rivals, by building new
mechanisms of international solidarity and fraternity.

The front lines are closer than you think, no further than the nearest
weapons or components factory, the nearest logistics depot,
transportation hub, or communications center.

War is being fought where the ports and airports, the military bases and
their reserve barracks are located. It is being fought on the rail and
highway networks, in the towns, neighborhoods, cities, and factories
where we, the workers, pay the price of war by living in poverty due to
worsening austerity. And now, the threat of conscription.

We cannot move without being at war, and when we notice it, the
rhetorical weapons fly: "Disruptor, extremist, traitor!" We must be all
of these things.

Militarist propaganda is everywhere.
It is time to clearly distinguish our movement from those who support
"some wars before the class war."
We are clear that revolutionaries not only oppose their wars, but call
for the transformation of war resistance into a social revolution! We
are not calling for a return to the pre-war situation, their "capitalist
peace," which is nothing more than their repression of us in preparation
for their next bloody enterprise.

What can we do concretely, individually and collectively, at home and
abroad? At the most basic level, think globally, act locally. Reject
their consensus and denounce their hypocrisy, defending our interests
and those of our class across borders. Collectively, let us reject their
"national interest."
Link our struggles to austerity and their war profiteering. Everything
we do for ourselves and our class hinders their "state of war." Let us
unite in solidarity across localities and professional sectors: a
victory on the home front is a victory and an example abroad.

 From the rivers of the Arctic to the Red Sea, from Taiwan to the Congo
Basin, continental borders are ablaze, or the embers are smoldering. No
matter who the superpowers are in charge of, they want us to fight-one
capitalism, one war! The danger is real, the danger is present.»
