For years, Animals First Aid supporters have stood by SARA Morocco — one of our longest and most trusted partners. Together, we’ve raised lifesaving funds that have fed starving dogs, healed countless cats, and given hope to animals in Agadir who would otherwise have none. Time and again, you’ve shown that compassion travels across borders.
But today, their rescue fund is running dangerously low. After so many emergencies, after saving so many lives, SARA is struggling to keep up with the endless stream of suffering animals. We cannot let this beacon of hope flicker out.
Just look at their latest rescue. A tiny puppy arrived with life-threatening wounds across his side. He couldn’t even stand. He lay in pain, eating only when he could muster the strength to lift his head. Thanks to your support, he received weeks of treatment, and his wound finally closed. And then, a miracle — he stood up, took his first steps, and wagged his tail.
But his fight isn’t over. His front paw was bent backwards from the accident, and he required urgent surgery in Marrakech. He’s back now, learning to use his leg again through daily physiotherapy, but he needs ongoing care and follow-up visits. Without continued support, he risks losing the progress he’s made.
SARA’s team has given everything — their hands, their hearts, their sleepless nights. Now they need us to do what we do best: rally together for animals who have no one else.
