doomed to yet another failure - but his actions should not be

Anyone who comes to power, even if moderate and seemingly benevolent, is
destined by the very nature of power to inflict unspeakable harm on the
subordinate. But when a pirita vudduti takes power, social traumas are
bound to linger as unhealable wounds.
