imposed racial and religious segregation, invaded sacred temples, seized
resources, arrested, kidnapped, and killed Palestinians, subjecting the
people-especially the working classes-to the most cruel regime of
apartheid and state terrorism known on the planet today.

The current attacks, explosions, destruction, and murders are neither
new nor exceptional: this is the routine to which the invader has
subjected the people of the Gaza Strip and all Palestinian territories
daily for decades.

Since October 7, 2023, Gaza has been living a living hell. More than
64,900 deaths and 165,000 injuries were recorded, including civilians
crushed by bombs, buried under rubble, or victims of hunger and
malnutrition. Most of the victims were women and children. Amid this
chaos, the bombing of hospitals and civilian shelters, and the denial of
drinking water, this is an escalation of institutional genocide.

Meanwhile, vessels of the Sumud Global Flotilla-about 50 ships, with
more than 500 activists on board, from Europe, Latin America, the Middle
East, and other continents-set sail with the firm intention of breaking
the blockade and delivering aid to the besieged people. Israel responded
by intercepting at least 21 vessels, detaining 317 activists-who were
taken to the port of Ashdod, where their deportation is announced. This
is already a pattern: at least eight previous flotillas have been
intercepted in over a decade, in operations that defy maritime and
humanitarian law. At least 14 Brazilian activists were detained, and one
remains missing.

It is the duty of the peoples of the world, of the political forces
fighting against capitalism and colonialism from Latin America, to
extend their arms and raise their flags high. To neither forget nor
normalize them, to make Palestinian liberation and popular
self-determination part of our struggles. Without the freedom of
Palestinians, there will be no freedom for anyone. We face a system of
death, but we know that in the face of oppression, there is resistance.
That people suffer, but they also rise up. International solidarity is
manifested in mobilizations around the world, and a clamor is emerging
for an end to this genocide. And, faced with such barbarity perpetrated
by those who claim to be civilized, we anarchists are outraged. We stand
in solidarity, but we also resolve to fight for a new world.
