We at the Gaucho Anarchist Federation, who in November 2025 will
celebrate 30 years of struggle and organization in the construction of
Especifista Anarchism, invite you to our political anniversary event. It
will be on Saturday, November 22nd, at 9:00 am, we will be at Redenção
with a booth, and at 6:00 pm, we will see you at the Maria Maria space
(Comuna do Arvoredo) in Porto Alegre, RS (R. Cel. Fernando Machado, 464
- Historic Center). We will have a cultural program packed with food,
drinks, and plenty of conversation. Come and share your presence and
your memories with us, at this time of revisiting ours and meeting new
generations. Our organization, the FAG, was founded on November 18,
1995, and as a militant project of an Especifista policy for Anarchists,
inspired by the historical work of the Uruguayan Anarchist Federation
(FAU), which established Especifismo in the south of our continent, we
have, over the past three decades, modestly contributed our efforts on
Brazilian soil to the formation of a strong people.
In the framework of these 30 years, we reaffirm that it is in daily
action that we place our efforts to forge a militancy committed to
social inclusion and the struggles of those from below, where the
principles of class solidarity, direct action, and struggle are the
guiding principles to face the adverse circumstances in which we
operate. With the prospect of revolutionary rupture, within libertarian
convictions, we also salute all our ideological references of political
organizations in this part of the world, without which we would not be
who we are. References that teach us to endure through time and endure,
even in bad weather and humbly, without wavering in the defense of
Socialism and Freedom.
We continue to root Anarchism and defend a just and dignified life for
all oppressed peoples of the world, combating capitalist and imperialist
projects wherever they manifest. And this hard struggle is only possible
from the bottom up, outside the bourgeois structures of the State and
with strong unity among the oppressed classes.
