Face à la grisaille, rien ne vaut un peu de jazz dans l’ambiance chaleureuse de votre club préféré !
Mercredi, Thomas Grimmonprez ouvrira la jam en compagnie de Victor Foulon et Nicola Andrioli. C’est toujours à prix libre, toujours la fête, et l’occasion de découvrir plusieurs dizaines de talents en une seule soirée, à s’amuser autour des standards éternels.
Jeudi, début de soirée en compagnie de la très talentueuse chanteuse Adinda Hertmans, dont nous soutenons l’ascension fulgurante. Elle sera accompagnée de Joachim Caffonnette au piano.
Pour le concert principal, Hervé Caparos, figure bien connue de la scène belge depuis de nombreuses années, présentera son quartet de jazz méditerranéen avec des musiciens venus de Corse et de Sicile.
Vendredi, nous accueillons l’un des gros coups de cœur de notre directeur artistique. Noé Codjia et Neil Saidi font vivre la scène parisienne avec leur collectif Zoot, garant d’un swing jouissif et d’un hard-bop frais. C’est la découverte à faire ce mois-ci si vous ne deviez venir qu’une seule fois !
La jam de seconde partie de soirée sera ouverte par Furmi Gomez pour vous accompagner jusqu’au bout de la nuit.
Samedi, concert spécial pour le guitariste Lior Tzemach, qui invite l’un des tout grands contrebassistes de notre époque : Doug Weiss. Une soirée qui promet des solos virtuoses et des morceaux qui donnent le sourire.
On finira la soirée avec la jam ouverte par le jeune pianiste italien Marco Marcelletti.
Enfin dimanche, l’hommage de l’après-midi sera assuré par un autre jeune talent. Ricardo Rosas jouera la musique de son héros Sonny Rollins, l’une des dernières légendes vivantes et compositeur de standards parmi les plus importants de l’histoire du jazz, comme Oleo, St. Thomas, Doxy ou Airegin.
On termine la soirée en compagnie du tromboniste le plus célèbre du royaume, surnommé le Chet Baker du trombone : Phil Abraham en quartet, pour une soirée de beaux standards

Woensdag opent Thomas Grimmonprez de jam samen met Victor Foulon en Nicola Andrioli. Zoals altijd is het vrije bijdrage, altijd feest, en de ideale gelegenheid om op één avond tientallen talenten te ontdekken die zich uitleven rond tijdloze jazzstandards.
Donderdag starten we de avond met de zeer getalenteerde zangeres Adinda Hertmans, wiens sterke opmars we met plezier ondersteunen. Ze wordt begeleid door Joachim Caffonnette aan de piano.
Voor het hoofdconcert stelt Hervé Caparos, al jarenlang een vaste waarde op de Belgische scene, zijn mediterrane jazzkwartet voor, met muzikanten uit Corsica en Sicilië.
Vrijdag verwelkomen we een grote favoriet van onze artistiek directeur. Noé Codjia en Neil Saidi brengen de Parijse scene tot leven met hun collectief Zoot, garant voor een aanstekelijke swing en frisse hardbop. Dé ontdekking van de maand, als je maar één keer zou komen!
De jam in het tweede deel van de avond wordt geopend door Furmi Gomez, die je tot diep in de nacht begeleidt.
Zaterdag een speciaal concert voor gitarist Lior Tzemach, die een van de allergrootste contrabassisten van onze tijd uitnodigt: Doug Weiss. Een avond vol virtuoze solo’s en muziek die een glimlach op het gezicht tovert.
We sluiten af met een jam geopend door de jonge Italiaanse pianist Marco Marcelletti.
Zondag wordt het namiddagconcert verzorgd door opnieuw een jong talent. Ricardo Rosas brengt de muziek van zijn held Sonny Rollins, een van de laatste levende legendes en componist van enkele van de belangrijkste jazzstandards uit de geschiedenis, zoals Oleo, St. Thomas, Doxy en Airegin.
’s Avonds eindigen we met de bekendste trombonist van het land, bijgenaamd de Chet Baker van de trombone: Phil Abraham in kwartet, voor een avond vol prachtige standards.

Wednesday, Thomas Grimmonprez will open the jam together with Victor Foulon and Nicola Andrioli. As always, it’s pay-what-you-want, always a celebration, and a great opportunity to discover dozens of talents in a single evening, having fun around timeless jazz standards.
Thursday starts with the very talented singer Adinda Hertmans, whose rapid rise we are proud to support. She will be accompanied by Joachim Caffonnette on piano.
For the main concert, Hervé Caparos, a well-known figure on the Belgian scene for many years, will present his Mediterranean jazz quartet, featuring musicians from Corsica and Sicily.
Friday, we welcome one of our artistic director’s big favourites. Noé Codjia and Neil Saidi bring the Parisian scene to life with their collective Zoot, delivering joyful swing and fresh hard bop. This is the discovery of the month if you were to come only once!
The second half jam will be opened by Furmi Gomez, taking you through to the end of the night.
Saturday, a special concert for guitarist Lior Tzemach, who invites one of the greatest double bass players of our time: Doug Weiss. An evening promising virtuosic solos and music that puts a smile on your face.
We will end the night with a jam opened by young Italian pianist Marco Marcelletti.
Finally, Sunday, the afternoon tribute will be led by another young talent. Ricardo Rosas will perform the music of his hero Sonny Rollins, one of the last living legends and composer of some of the most important jazz standards in history, such as Oleo, St. Thomas, Doxy and Airegin.
We close the evening with the most famous trombonist in the country, nicknamed the Chet Baker of the trombone: Phil Abraham in quartet, for an evening of beautiful standards.
