Urgent, Important , Afghan govt. says it will no longer accept deportees‏

Update/clarification on the Afghan situation:

The Minister of Refugees and Reintegration has said that current
deportations to the country fall outside the scope of the Memoranda of
Understanding, and that they will not accept anyone deported and will
send them back.

It remains to be seen whether they actually do this in practice but the
minister says he has sent letters to embassies telling states not to
deport people because they would no longer be accepted. At the very
least this could be used in asylum cases and campaigners in Afghanistan
are trying to get the word out to solicitors and media here - so if
people can help with that in whatever way that would be great.

Cautiously optimistic :)

BELGIUM,URGENT,Stop a deportation, named “Dublin” on 27/10/2014

Stop a deportation, named “Dublin” on 27/10/2014

Last minute 24/10, 06 p.m. A. mounted on the roof of the closed centre 127 bis this afternoon. Police come in the centre and take him in isolation in the centre. The tension was very strong in the centre
——————————————————————————————-
There are several people in the closed centres who should be deported to
Bulgaria in the context of the famous ‘Dublin’ agreement. Bulgaria is not
really the best place for the welcoming of migrants. In January 2014, the
UNCHR had advised European countries not to send migrants back to Bulgaria
and they are still very cautious about the treatments of migrants in that
country. Being deported to Bulgaria means being imprisoned for months,
facing regular racist violence, living a long term wandering with no
livelihoods, and finally being deported to the country of origin.

Let’s resist these deadly migration policies ending with imprisonments and
deportations to all the European countries. Among the 30 daily
deportations done by Belgium, Mr A, from Afghanistan, will be deported to
‘his Dublin’, in this case Bulgaria, on Monday 27th of October 2014.
Let’s prevent this deportation!
A is Afghan, on October 27th 8.50 a.m, he will experiment his second deportation attempt to Sofia, Bulgaria.
He doesn’t want to return neither to Bulgaria nor to Afghanistan.
He is asking for our help to go and speak to the passengers of the flight and support him in his fight against his deportation.
Flight details:
Take off at 8.50 a.m terminal 2, Bulgaria Air
His testimony:
“I arrived in Bulgaria in June 2014 after fleeing Afghanistan. The border police arrested me. They took me to jail. They beat me and left me under the rain for two days, without giving me anything to eat. It was cold. I was sick but they didn’t bring me to a doctor.
They were really aggressive, they were treating human beings like animals. They told me “if you want asylum here, ask for it, otherwise we’ll send you back to Afghanistan.” They beat me and took my fingerprints under coercion. I didn’t want to stay in Bulgaria. I remained in prison for 17 days, then they released me with a temporary residence permit but they took my money, my phone, my clothes and they did not give me housing nor food. I could not afford to stay there, hence I went to see a courier so that he could send me to another country, and I came to Belgium to ask for help. But now, I’m in a closed centre here in Belgium. If they send me back to Bulgaria they will beat me and imprison me. They will not give me any place to live, no food, no papers, nothing! My life will be a pure disaster.
Even worse, if they send me back to Afghanistan, my life will be in danger, and if I come back to Europe by illegal means, I might die or be seriously injured!
If you refuse my asylum request here in Belgium, I am OK to go to another country, but please, don’t send me back to Bulgaria or Afghanistan !”
Let’s meet at the airport on 27/10/2014 at 7 a.m. to warn the passengers of their rights and duties, and to support Amin!
Come on, let go! send faxes and emails to protest against all these deadly deportation flights! Act very fast!

Hi,
I send this email to you to protest against the deportation of A that is going to take place with the support of your company on
October 27th at 8.50 a.m.
Amin Niazi, who is from afghanistan, will experiment his second
deportation.
He doesn’t want to return neither to Bulgaria nor to Afghanistan.
He arrived in Bulgaria in June 2014 after fleeing Afghanistan. The
border police arrested him and took him to jail. They beat him and left
me under the rain for two days, without giving him anything to eat. He

him back to Bulgaria they will beat him and imprison him. His life will
be a pure disaster.
Amin Niazi will do everything he can to resist this deportation.
Stop this deportation before it is too late !
Don’t collaborate with this daily violence !
Thank you for your attention.

URGENT,(en) Latest news about the Situation in Kobane and the involvement of anarchists

Since governance of Urfa has forbidden entrances to Suru?, our comrades met with other DAF
members using other ways and joined the human shield group. At the same time, Turkish
Armed Forces increased their attacks with gas bombs on people of Koban? who wait at the
M??ritp?nar border gate. ---- After pushing back ISIS from dominant hills 500 meter
distance from the border, YPG fell back some more from the western front in the following
days. This strategic fall back is an efficient action against ISIS? heavier weapons.
Clashes increase in the night. ---- A ?stop the city? was called in Amed in solidarity
with Koban? resistance while many shops were closed and schools boycotted in Amed and rest
of Kurdistan. ---- The border watch is gaining importance as ISIS is receiving more
supplies through Turkish border in the last days.

Comrades report that people of Kobane are persecuted in the Yumurtalik border gate. Number
of ill and wounded is very high. Children are deprived of food and water. Many wounded
people wait on the ground for hours without any treatment and transported to Suruc in the
back of trucks.

Opportunist people try to sell vital supplies to people from Koban? with very high prices.
Border watchers from human shield group also interfere with these.
ISIS bombing now intensified on the villages 1-2 km east of Koban? and continues on West
of Koban?.

Turkish State Prepares for Assault

Harrasing fire by turkish army on October 3rd early morning is rather meaningful
considering ground war planned allegedly to protect tomb of king S?leyman and the military
permit. Turkish state that let ISIS militants and supplies through borders for months is
pursuing other strategic gains disguised as help.

Turkish military police threatened the human shield commune that our comrades are part of,
and is increasing attacks to evacuate the village.

Turkish state that is preparing to interfere to avoid the ISIS danger, is at the same time
neglecting the offensive made by ISIS supporters within its borders, showing its politics
of hypocrisy.

Anarchist Women in Kobane

As revolutionary anarchists, in these days that we see Koban? people?s struggle for
freedom as our own struggle for freedom, we are raising Azad?/Freedom principle in every
area. We will not allow states, capitalists or murderer gangs to give harm to Koban?
people. Our anarchist women comrades (DAF/Anarchist Women Organisation) are on the road to
expand this revolutionary solidarity with saying "For destroying the borders and creating
the freedom; to Koban?!".

Long Live the Resistance of Koban?!

Long Live the Revolution of Rojava!

AFRICA,URGENT, 24 HOURS FOR UGANDA

Hi Luc –
This is shocking: 96% of all Ugandans think that lesbian and gay people should NOT be accepted by their community or country.
That means facing a lot of violence and hate for who you love. It means living in fear or hiding.
And it means that until millions of Ugandans change their minds, laws like the "Kill the Gays" bill will always have huge support.
So, we're going to help fix that – now. Here's how:

Changing laws means changing minds, one story at a time. Click to donate...

24 hours left! If you think it could work, chip in any amount now:
https://www.allout.org/All-Out-4-Uganda
All Out's teamed up with amazing partners in Uganda – kickstarting a never-before-seen storytelling campaign to combat anti-gay hate in Uganda.
And the next stop? The rest of the world.
One year ago, more than 3,600 of us donated to make sure Russian organisers could keep fighting their anti-gay propaganda law. Together, we got them the funds they needed to fight the law, protect themselves from legal and physical threats, and support young people in their communities.
Those donations also helped power All Out's groundbreaking global campaign to make sure Russia's anti-gay laws dominated all national and international coverage of the Olympics in Sochi. (And just last week, in response to our campaign, the International Olympics Committee announced that they're changing their rules so cities with discriminatory laws can't host the Games!)
So far, more than 1,601 All Out members have chipped in to power the fight in Uganda. That's incredible. Will you join in now to help get us there?

It doesn't matter how much you give – every one of us should be proud to be a part of this movement, because we all step up whenever we're needed most.
– Andre, Jeremy and the rest of the All Out team.

P.S. All Out's member-funded – that means every individual donation goes to powering groundbreaking global campaigns. It also means governments and corporations can't tell us what to do because we won't take their money. If we want to be 100% independent and running on individual donations AND funding amazing, grassroots groups on the ground, changing lives – we all need to step up chip in now: https://www.allout.org/All-Out-4-Uganda

France : URGENT : Manifestation de migrants à Calais (text; eng/fr)

Press invitation from the migrant communities for demo in Calais 05.09

To the press
In the last weeks many of us had to face a lot of police violence. Some of us got broken hands and others broken legs and even some got hurt their heads. You can see that with your own eyes and you can hear of them how it happened.
In the next days the fascists will come to Calais to meet and demonstrate here. There is no shelter for us to be secure and to hide from them. We can not trust the police to protect us from them as we experienced already so much violence from them.
Migration is not a crime and each and everyone of us has reasons why we had to leave our countries and our families and why we are here now.
Europe is always talking about Human Rights and freedom but we can not find this here.
This is why we want to demonstrate and bring our demands on the streets.
Therefore we are happy to invite you to our demonstration on friday, the 5th of September 2014, starting at 3 p.m. at Salam, the food distribution place.
We think your presence is very important to spread our message everywhere and show the reality that we have to face.
We will make a press conference after the demonstration to give space for personal talks and your questions.
The migrant communities in Calais.

FR

The first steps where taken at 17th April 2014 during a protest from patatistes, farmers fight, the local committee of inhabitants and other locals.

• The presence of protected plants and animals at the site ;
• The fight against intensive urbanisation ;
• The want and need from the people of Haren to protect one of the
last agricultural and green nature spaces of Brussels City, including
   their beloved small pathes;
• The need for local agriculture ;
• The need for food autonomy ;
• The fight against imprisonment and repression ;

... these are just a few causes that bind us here at this place 'Landly freedom'.
We launch a call to all to join us and enforce us and we are organizing in the future multiple activities.

URGENT !!!France : Calais :Weekend of Anti-fascist resistance, Calais 5-7 September‏

PLEASE SPREAD.

See also CMS website: http://calaismigrantsolidarity.wordpress.com

Weekend of Anti-fascist resistance, Calais 5-7 September

On Sunday 7 September, local fascist group ‘Sauvons Calais’ will once
again try to hold a demonstration ‘against immigration’ in Calais,
bringing in hardcore neo-nazis from across France. A number of
high-profile fascists have already confirmed their presence including
(conseiller municipal de Venissieux and former-member of the now banned
organization L’Œuvre française), and Richard Roudier (of Réseau
Identités). No doubt there will also be neonazi gangs that will arrive
before and stay for more time after the demo to attack vulnerable people
in the streets.

We have recently seen a huge spate of these attacks against activists, and
charity volunteers, as well as their usual migrant targets. Comrades have
been attacked in the night by gangs with knives, telescopic truncheons,
and pepperspray. One well known volunteer narrowly escaped a kidnap
attempt where a group of fascists tried to drag her into a car. Especially
in Calais we cannot look to the police for protection. Last winter they
stood by while Sauvon Calais and other fascists sustained an attack on a
squat for a week, using missiles, molotov cocktails, and axes to try to
break in.

There is no place for fascists in Calais. We will resist this neo-nazi
rally. We will resist the recent wave of fascist street attacks. But with
hundreds of neonazis arriving, we cannot do this alone. We call on
antifascists from across France, and across Europe, to join us for a
gathering of solidarity through the weekend of 5-7 September.

We need your support to shut down Sauvons Calais’ demo. We need your
support to help defend homes and meeting places under attack. We also want
to invite musicians, film-makers, and others to come and join us to make
an international festival of resistance! From 1940 to 2014, French people
and immigrants from all over the world have repeatedly united to smash
nazi scum. We want to celebrate this tradition with action, and also with
events such as concerts, film-showings, discussions and more. We welcome
all proposals and expressions of solidarity in the coming days.

secretary of the Parti de la France), Yvan Benedetti (conseiller municipal

Europe : France : Calais : URGENT : UP TO DATE NEWS : DEMO SATURDAY 12th - SAMEDI 12 JUILLET

CALL OUT !!!

This is the french and english version of the callout for next weekend....
if people want to translate to other languages, could you send it to me or
one of the calais emails so that we can have it. Please pass around lists.

Feel free to change as you want...

Just so everyone is clear, we are asking people to come for the
demonstration on saturday 12th, but to stick around for at least a few
days afterwards, there is a lot to be done at the moment

solidarity and rage

Never again ?!

We thought that we had witnessed the worst in 2009 with the destruction of
the Afghan jungle; the mass arrest of 278 of its inhabitants and their
coordinated detention across the whole of France. However, this Wednesday
2 July 2014 the state showed how much further it can go. At 6am the CRS,
PAF, Gendarme, and the Police Nationale undertook massive coordinated
evictions and raids against the migrant population of Calais.

Using the cover of an eviction operation with an undisclosed date, 600
migrants were pepper sprayed, insulted, humiliated, terrorised, and
detained. All witnesses of the eviction were violently removed from the
site of the arrests. They were escorted onto buses and driven out of
Calais, without having the least idea of their final destination. 200
people are still in detention centres, and those who were lucky enough to
have been released, came out traumatised.

This show of force by the police is a result of a wish to disperse
migrants so that they give up on their desire to travel to the country of
their choice.  It is an operation which reminds us of previous fascist
periods, that generations have promised to no longer accept. We must
re-mobilise a resistance.

Today in Calais, once again, migrants are being chased from the town. The
majority of people are now in the peripheries – in places where police
harrassment can be enacted to its fullest, where there is no-one to
witness it. This situation sets us back 10 years, and we cannot accept
that the many gains we have fought for, are being swept away.

We call upon everybody to come to Calais to oppose this unprecidented
wave of oppression.

Come to Place d'Armes at 2pm on Saturday the 12th of July, for a
demonstration against mass roundups and in solidarity with those detained
and evicted.

And stay for the following days to construct a collective response so that
this form of opression does not return to being the norm!
