August 24, 1944 Paris was liberated. The first to enter Paris are Spaniards. They were in
the 9th company, Nueve, 3rd battalion, commanded by Captain Raymond Dronne belonging to
the Second Armored Division (2nd DB) General Leclerc. Among them, Many anarchists. -
Within the Nueve, these men had fought in North Africa, France, in Normandy. After
participated in the liberation of Paris, they had continued the struggle Alsace. Then they
fought in Germany until the armistice. Thus, after having fought in Spain against the
Franco, they continued their struggle against totalitarianism. ---- It is to commemorate
this fact, little known, we wanted participate in the ceremony scheduled for Saturday,
August 25 at the City Hall Paris, wearing red-black flags and black colors anarchists
Nueve. Even though, Fran?ois Hollande filed a plaque in honor of the same Nueve.

The denial of the presence of anarchists colors during this
ceremony, reveals an occultation of a historical reality or
tampering. It is time to recognize that many
Anarchists have played a role in the fight against Nazism and
contributed to the liberation of our country.
