What is the situation in Egypt? The social and political scene is largely depoliticized. 
Analysis by Movement activist libertarian socialist. ---- The specificity of the National 
Party, which held power throughout the Mubarak era, is that unlike the Baath Party in 
Syria, he has not adopted the strategy of idealization and totalitarian Focus not any 
society. This does not mean that the National Party of Egypt is more democratic, but it 
displays an ambition ideologize society. This is partly drawn from the failure of the 
Nasser regime to the socialist youth organization that produces a school party cadres in 
power. In fact, this organization has quickly become independent. This autonomy has led 
the party to destroy Nasser, and liquidate members most vehemently opposed to the plan.

In this climate, the emergence of NGOs in the social field, since the early 1990s, 
promoted the rejection of any political ideology or even politics. Many party members have 
left the political field to move towards a legal framework and more comfortable, 
especially a large number of NGOs under the benevolence of the West, with budgets.

Political conflict in the world of the Smurfs

Ideologization this society has favored the emergence of collective motion as Kifaya, 
which is devoid of any social project and can not exceed the expression of ras-le-bol 
vis-?-vis the Mubarak . Mutations in these currents have resulted in the April 6 Movement,

This has influenced the social and political protest, which led to the fall of Mubarak in 
February 2011. The appearance of Ultras (football fans) as major force in the protest 
scene reflects this. Ultras, by their discipline and tactics against well-established 
police forces have been able to provide dynamism and efficiency in street fighting. But a 
political project can not base its policy on the riots. It should be noted also 
authoritarianism and misogyny that exists among the Ultras, which include small band 
leaders. Then the door was wide open to all recoveries.

Make politics out of the box

Our project, as libertarians, is to provide a thought that wants investment by the working 
class in the political field at all levels, with the center of the class struggle and 
anti-authoritarianism.

To achieve this we organize public meetings in neighborhoods, as well as think tanks in 
the spontaneous streets of Alexandria. Our latest campaign is called "burn their 
Constitution" and aims to show that the Egyptian Constitution only serves the interests of 
the dominant class. This initiative has had a positive response, including the fact that 
the content of the Constitution is known only by legal experts and some politicians.

Our next companions focus on our project. This will give an answer to the question 
throughout Egypt: what's the alternative? We will include a campaign on trade unionism and 
we will ask the idea of ??the self as an alternative to exploited labor.
