(en) Spain, CNT-AIT: solidarity with the workers / inside at Capgemini (ca, de)

As a result of the call of the "Section telecommunications and information services" of 
the CNT-AIT Madrid at a Solidarity for their members and the workers / inside the IT 
company Capgemini, on 17 May 2013 several unions and European sections of the 
International Workers / Association conducted inside various actions. The aim was to stop 
the dismissal plans with which the management of this company had faced the 370 workers / 
inside. ---- This Solidarity had been planned as part of a 24-hour strike, the unions had 
subsidized proclaimed as part of their program of action. This provides from 23 May in 
begin an indefinite strike if the Capgemini social plan (ERE) does not withdraw. ---- The 
CNT members who work at the company have participated in the one-day strike as well as to 
the partial work stoppage on the day before.

But they also criticize it the "Legal Workers representation" (consisting of the unions 
CCOO, UGT and CIS-R), who agreed with the management of the company in the last year of 
the previous plan for collective redundancies. She had also admitted that several layoffs 
on a smaller scale have been made in the years 2012 and 2013.

In Madrid, members of the "union of all professions" (SOV) have now conducted a rally 
outside the company's office in Alcobendas, distributed in pamphlets and numerous walking 
to work scabs / interior have been informed. Starting at 8 clock and rain CNT rally could 
take place without incident, the subsidized unions had also sent their official / inside 
and exempt members there. The SOV Madrid finished this action yet with a bitter taste due 
to the high number of scabs / inside, the work not only contrary to our interests, but 
also against their own.

Also, Barcelona has become the local "union of all professions" joined this action and 
distributed leaflets in the company building on Avenida Diagonal. In this they have not 
only called the working / in to this day strike, but also an indefinite strike if the 
social plan will not be fully withdrawn. They arrived there on another rally, which was 
carried out without subsidized trade unions and which thanked the members for their 
solidarity CNT at the end.

As the Slovak section of the IWA, the anarcho-syndicalist Priama Akcia has sent a lot of 
protest faxes to the headquarters of Capgemini in Paris, Bratislava and Madrid. So they 
have made their opposition to the layoffs and the precariousness clear what has to answer 
the Spanish branch. They also speak out against the lousy labor contracts entered into 
this multinational corporation.

The Polish comrades / inside the ZSP-IAA have leaflets in support of the members and 
workers / inside of this company in Spain distributed at a company based in Warsaw. At the 
same time they have drawn attention to the poor condition of the workers / interior in 
Poland. In this country, as well as in Slovakia, which destroyed jobs in Spain are to be 
resettled because the workers there / inside are even cheaper. It is a unique strategy of 
management to keep the labor cost and uncertain.

[The anarcho-syndicalist / inside the "union of all professions" Paris-Nord (SIPN) also 
participated in the Solidarity and organized a rally outside the office of the 
multinational company in Paris. There, they have come together for an hour to distribute 
leaflets against the planned mass dismissal and clarify the policy of this group.] *

We would like to end this report by stating that the actions of the CNT-AIT are solely and 
exclusively out against the dismissal plan for the management of Capgemini ends the way 
the general precariousness that it has taken about a year ago. In this sense we urge the 
unions CCOO, UGT and CSI-F this up, do not use our strength and international solidarity 
to "beautify" this social plan or to "improve" some Anwendungskauseln to. The target of 
the CNT-AIT is the termination and withdrawal of the dismissal plan - no half measures, no 
secret agreement and no division of the spoils behind closed doors.

Finally, we want to give our best and warmest thanks let the Genosss / inside forward who 
participated in the action: the SOV in Madrid and Barcelona, ??the IT section of the ZSP 
Warsaw and the Priama Akcia in Bratislava [and SIPN in Paris] *. Without their 
participation, this action could not take place.

No further layoffs at Capgemini!
