Last to act, act to last ---- 18 years ago today was founded Gaucha Anarchist Federation. 
Another stone was placed in that great way that thousands of men and women are building 
with blood, sweat and barricades across more than one century of struggle of the oppressed 
classes against the political domination and economic ideology of the ruling classes. 
Since then, our Organization Politics Anarchist matrix especifista, is seeking to resume 
the place which belongs to the origin Anarchism: the inside of organizations and struggles 
of the oppressed, the exploited, of the workers worldwide. It has not been easy. We had 
and have to learn every day from our mistakes, our limitations and also slander and evil 
caratismo those who should be our allies in the struggle against the system of capitalist 
domination.

But we were never alone. The companheirada the Uruguayan Anarchist Federation - FAU, 
founded in 1956 and forged by the practice and policy in addressing the diverse contexts 
of severe repression in that country in 60 years a beautiful reference that inspired our 
founding as a matrix organization especifista, as well as the numerous initiatives 
organizational young militants without any physical structure and financial dared this 
immense territory called Brazil plant seeds of political and social organization, have 
always been our partners in this long walk. In addition, hundreds of men and women 
activists from social movements, trade unions, the student movement, the outlying 
neighborhoods were shoulder to shoulder in the various struggles for a better life, for 
more social rights against repression and criminalization of struggles, etc..

But even a year was so significant for us in those 18 years than the year 2013. It was the 
year of the conquest of lower passages in dozens of Brazilian cities; year in which we 
observe a mass mobilization way not seen in 20 years, year of strong repression and vested 
economic elites, media and policies against social fighters and against our ideology; year 
to accumulate experience and organizational policy and to forge unity with those who fight 
and want to change the reality in which we live. It was a year that surprised the whole 
left combative and pointed out the limits of direct action street when there is no 
organization consolidated basis. Anyway, for us Gaucha Anarchist Federation of the year 
2013 was a watershed for both our trajectory as Political Organization as the Organization 
of Low. And we still have a long way to go and much to learn from our people and practices 
that we forge.

Are 18 years of Strength and Ideological Conviction and reaffirmation of a political 
strategy for social transformation, elaborated and re-elaborated in the heat of the 
struggles, alliances, and will come from the environment, in the context of a particular 
historical period and having Always the protagonist bodies struggle and organization of 
the oppressed classes. It is because we believe and campaigned for the construction of a 
strong people that we are Anarchists! It is because we know that the Social Revolution or 
the destruction of Social Classes is not by decree, nor from one day to another to 
organize ourselves politically and endow a strategy, a program and a Theoretical Framework 
to analyze the reality in which live.

Yes, we are Anarchists and as such we do not provide the caricatures.
