I am not involved in this project, but I looked at the map. The project is interesting, I think, but I do not like parts of the language which is used – it is the language of the governments and of mainstream media. Examples (see text below): “migration flow that affects...”, “local gangs”, “illegally” – I think we should find other words for our reports, because the reality is not like this! Migrants are no “flow”, but subjects, and not all people who help to cross borders are “gangs”!

The most important migration flow that affects the Western area of Europe is the one starting from Morocco and arriving to the Iberian peninsula through sea.
Thousand of people who decide to reach Spain pay hundreds of Euros to local gangs, for a seat on a patera (a type of small fishing boat) that can carry up to eighty persons, leaving for a difficult journey that will put their lives at risk.
Others decide to enter illegally in one of the Maghreb ports where ships sail to Spain; they hide themselves in trucks ready to board and stay there until the arrival in Spain.
