Brazil hosts the FIFA World Cup in July 2014 and the Youth Olympics in 2016, absorbing 
huge amounts of money, while many basic needs of the population are not satisfied. For the 
purposes of sporting spectacle, more than 170,000 families were thrown into the street! 
---- The International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) and the International 
Olympic Committee (IOC) do not know the logic of money. FIFA, the IOC and the states that 
support them drinking in public funds despise the people who live in countries where they 
organize their shows: lavish spending, authoritarian repression and displacement usually 
accompany these initiatives. ---- Brazil is no exception. ---- We affirm our solidarity 
with those who, Brazil, refuse the World Cup football is the pretext for serious measures, 
which directly attack the population, especially the poorest and specifically target those

problems this country knows; strikes occur every day and important recent movements show 
that workers will not remain silent during their legitimate claims World Cup, the

fight for the right to housing and the army destroyed slums without worrying at all the

large street demonstrations in Brazil, to Paris, we will gather near the Brazilian embassy .

and the human rights campaign in Brazil, through actions popularization (newsletter, 
public meetings, football tournaments, ...)
