Bike-tour through refugee-camps in Berlin and
Brandenburg from the 22nd till 26th of August.
On Thursday, 22nd of august a press-conference will
take place in Bad Belzig, Weitzgrunder Weg.
Afterwards a group of refugee-activists start with a
mobilisation-tour by bycicle through refugee-Lager in Brandenburg and Berlin.
On the 26th of August will be a start-up demonstration in the border-city Frankfurt(Oder) to open the "Stop Deportation Camp" which will take place from 26th of
August till 1st of September 2014 in Eisenhüttenstadt.
Resistance against the Eisenhüttenstadt Deportation
factory is necessary! The stop deportation group is
fighting for the right to stay for everybody. The
demands are to abolish deportation-jails and to stop all deportations. Beeing Refugee is not a crime,
nevertheless refugees are crimilized by beeing
detained in prisons and isolated Lager. The
stop-deportation-group inform about the stolen rights of refugees by forcing them in detention and leave
them without voice and without constitutional legality.
The activists inform about discrimination by police
and courts which are using violence against refugees.
The group of refugees and solidary people have been
fighting against the deportation jail and isolation
for more than one year. When a somalian refugee tried to hung himself in the isolation of the Lager
Eisenhüttenstadt, solidary comrades started with
bringing the voice out and they realized a
solidarity-group, organizing demonstrations,
info-events and going continously to the Lager to
monitor the happenings and support the people who
stay there.
On 8th of July 2013, 14 refugees started a
hungerstrike in the deportation centre of the Lager
Eisenhüttenstadt. The stop deportation-group
informed fellow activists and supporters in Berlin and
together they set up a solidarity camp right in front
of the Lager. The aim of the action was, to avoid the
deportations of people inside the deportation centre
and to expose how this deportation machinery works.
Now the group is organizing a "Stop Deportation
Camp" from 26th of August till 1st of September 2014 in Eisenhüttenstadt, in order to close the
refugee jail. We want to oppose to the German and
European Exclusion politics a solidary perspective.
We want to use the camp for workshops, discussions, legal support, concerts and many creative actions.
Through that we want to inform, connect, develop
perspectives and realize them together. Together we
are strong: Get involved! Join the Camp! Be creative! NO JAIL FOR REFUGEES!
Whether in Eisenhüttenstadt, Büren, Berlin-Grünau or elsewhere - close deportation jails!
