---- The founding congress of the Federación Anarquista del Centro America y del Caribe 
(Anarchist Federation of Central America and the Caribbean – FACC) will be this March 21st 
and 22nd in Santiago de los Caballeros, Dominican Republic. Anarchist organizations from 
around the region will be sending delegates to meet together for this historic moment of 
international solidarity and strength. ---- Kiskeya Libertaria (Rep. Dominicana) and El 
Taller Libertario Alfredo Lopez (Cuba) will be hosting the congress, and groups from Costa 
Rica, El Salvador, Venezuela, Puerto Rico, Guatemala, Colombia, Nicaragua and Mexico are 
trying to make it to the congress, together with other supporters from Europe, the United 
States and South America. However, some of these groups lack the resources to afford to 
fly a delegation to the Dominican Republic and may not be able to participate in the 
foundation of FACC.

The Black Rose Anarchist Federation (Los Angeles and Miami locals) is raising funds to get 
organizational delegates to the FACC congress and help support this project of creating 
unity and solidarity in struggle across the region. All funds raised here will be used to 
support the travel expenses of anarchist organizations participating in the FACC congress. 
We are waiting for a decision on exactly which organizations have the highest need for 
these funds.

Black Rose is also sending two of our own members as observers to participate in the FACC 
congress. After the congress we will create and share a report on the congress, and we 
will continue working closely with the new FACC.
