janvier: Solidarity despite the sacred union (fr, it, pt) [machine
translation]
There was nothing to be nausea, after January 7, nausea blood shed by the fanatics, nausea
and republican tricolor instrumentalization, nausea wave of Islamophobic hysteria ...
Faced with "terrorism", the time s' Announce difficult, and it takes above all remain
lucid. ---- The tragedy has been exceptional. The severity of its scope, but also,
unfortunately, by the grotesque finery in which it was decked. Tragic murder of 17 people
three Jihadist between 7 and 9 January, either because they had "insulted the Prophet"
either because they were Jewish. Tragically, the death of several of the most famous
designers in the country. Tragically, shameless politician recovery that followed behind
the "national unity" Hollande-Sarkozy. Tragically, this defense of "freedom" by a parade
of emissaries States constantly repress[1] or conducting endless imperialist wars [2].
Tragic mass at Notre Dame for better bury these fierce anticlerical. Tragically, the
Marseillaise and tricolors made to drape the death of these unpatriotic always.
Tragically, the phenomenal marketing campaign right-thinking the slogan "I'm Charlie"
displayed in businesses, on signs the Paris ring until the Nasdaq pediment, on Wall Street.
Charlie Hebdo of the survivors were not fooled. Willem refused to march on January 11,
with people who "represent everything against which we are." Laurent Léger lamented: "It
would have been better than Charlie is not there, we were affected in our flesh and that
is associated to all of these policies. "Luz parade but admitting his discomfort:" As said
the caricature of Cabu, it is not easy to be followed by idiots, gender Angela Merkel ...
Everyone can recover what he wants in a symbol, but we can not get our work. "[3]
Divergence of views
Take a step back, ignore everything appalling spectacle to find the first sense of emotion
that hit the country on January 7th. A penalty equal for all victims, whether anonymous or
known. A sincere sentence, despite the differences of opinion that we could get Charlie Hebdo.
Indeed, that was fifteen years that the satirical weekly had lost much of its readership
extreme left. While we must be careful to amalgamate all of drafting a éditocrate, the
right-wing drift Philippe Val had a lot. Support for NATO in Kosovo in 1999, rallying to
neoliberalism, febrile campaign for the European Constitution in 2005, miserable dismissal
Sine 2008, all asking the philosopher, his mouth full of Montaigne or Voltaire ... This "
béachèlisation "has been accelerated sufficiently documented so we are back [4].
The starting Val in 2009, following his appointment to the direction of France Inter -
with the approval of President Sarkozy - had allowed to aerate the newspaper, now led by
Charb and Riss.
Satire of Islam and gnashing of teeth
Nevertheless remained a subject of discomfort, recurrent since the affair of the Mohammed
cartoons in 2006 satirizing Islam [5]. Charlie Hebdo attack all religions, superstitions
and sects, trying to undermine the mythologies and desecrate the prophets. And it is his
job to do so. But in a European context sometimes latent Islamophobia, now open, that this
particular religion is perceived as an "enemy from within", satire of Islam by Charlie
Hebdo has often left a bitter taste in antiracist readership. And critics have accumulated
sometimes worn by former collaborators [6].
Apart from this friction that had alienated many sympathies to log its authors continued
to support the social struggles, including those of migrant workers and the homeless [7],
and let all the leaves of cabbage union or revolutionary blithely use in their designs ...
This was recently the case with a poster of Libertarian Alternative decorated with a
drawing of Tignous.
Solidarity and critical action
AL precisely. In the wake of the massacre, the organization has demonstrated its pain, and
condemned in advance Islamophobic attacks that would inevitably arise under "retaliation"
[8]. Then came the huge demonstrations of January 11, initiated by anti-racist
organizations, but transformed by the government "Republican march" sacred union ... The
anti-capitalist organizations have publicly stood out this charade [9].
However the policy of AL is not to turn its back on street movements, but to try to make
themselves heard. In many cities, the organization thus intervened on the sidelines of
events, alone or with others, to give [views 10] or boost alternative gatherings "out
sacred union." This has sometimes earned him applause, boos at times. No matter.
The anti-terrorist hysteria ad particularly hard time for the "dangerous classes", the
neighborhoods and the Muslim minority in this country. More than ever, we must denounce
stigma and strive to reduce racial divisions that undermine the proletariat.
