---- "B(A)D NEWS - Angry voices from around the world" is a monthly news program from the
international network of anarchist and antiauthoritarian radios, consisting of short news
segments from different parts of the world. As an international network of radio projects,
we believe in the importance of international solidarity. And we also recognize the
importance and the need to create and disseminate our own media and counterinformation.
We hope, with this effort, to reach out to other anarchist and antiauthoritarian projects,
groups and individuals, and to strengthen our connections and our struggles in sharing our
stories.
Although this program is in English, we recognize that even this ‚international‘ language
can be alienating to some and we want to encourage others to create and share similar
content in their own languages.
We want to hear the Bad News first!
Enjoy! And please feel free to share!

Today, Leaders of the Association of Tenants, organized a picket at the Provincial Office
in Poznan. The aim of the meeting was to draw attention to the alarming provincial
government action, in the last days, bearing all the hallmarks of the practice of cleaning
houses . ---- A dozen people gathered in front of the Office after talks with
representatives of the local media, was able to petition the Governor purpose of informing
about the recent problems of tenants. According WSLu issue is important and affects an
increasing number of residents. As the association said in a statement: "Many families in
debt loses the right to occupy an apartment, which is the only place where they can meet
the basic housing needs. The direct cause of the loss of the apartment is the cessation of
repayment of the loan to the bank or the developer or other entities. Loss of liquidity is
mainly due to high mortgage installments (often previously denominated in Swiss francs).
The reasons for this are various, eg. Related to loss of earning capacity due to illness
or other circumstances which are independent of the borrowers. At the time of lack of
liquidity payments, it comes to the auction (announced by the bank or other entity, eg.
The developer) and the loss of the right to occupy an apartment. The new owner based on
the act of acquisition and transfer of ownership housing, can - without having to bring
the case to court - immediately start proceedings with the participation of the bailiff
that "the march" on his behalf shall eviction. "(Full text here )
Unfortunately secretariat governor gathered obtained only information that is currently
Governor of the meeting and can not accept them. Therefore submitted a petition informing
tenants about problems and achieved to ensure that the province governor will respond in
writing to the information contained therein within a week. One can only hope that,
despite many years of government inaction in relation to the practice of cleaning houses
and violation of the rights of tenants, this time things will not be proverbially "swept
under the carpet"
symptomatic and noteworthy is the considerable assistance of police officers. A total of
three vehicles of prevention, one police car, a dozen officers, including police officers
in plain clothes. That assistance picket on a dozen or so notified, prior to the Poznan
police action cooperating with cleaner houses, or passivity in the face of illegal
eviction attempts and harassment directed at tenants, has a very symbolic dimension. The
police will continue to monitor, film and write down activists and activists of tenant
than to intervene obvious manifestations of violations of the rights of tenants.
