Le 5 mai aura lieu la huitième édition du Steenrock, manifestival contre les centres de rétention pour étrangers. Alors que les murs se multiplient, qu’on expulse de plus en plus d’étranger-e-s, que la violence xénophobe augmente, qu’on édicte des lois liberticides, qu’on réprime la solidarité, il est urgent de se soulever contre ces mesures.
Il est temps d’opposer à ces politiques et à ceux qui les mettent en œuvre une résistance civile et militante. Cette année encore et peut-être plus que jamais, nous voulons affirmer notre résistance et notre rejet de ces politiques migratoires inhumaines, violentes et discriminatoires. Nous voulons réclamer la fermeture de ces prisons pour étrangers, de ces lieux de non-droit, de ces aberrations juridiques et morales. Le 5 mai, nous célébrerons la détermination de celles et ceux qui luttent contre ces politiques répressives et discriminatoires.
On vous attend nombreuses et nombreux devant le 127bis à Steenokkerzeel, près de l’aéroport de Zaventem, pour cet après-midi de solidarité et de résistance en musique!
Quand: le samedi 5 mai de 14h00 à 18h00 (rendez-vous à 13h30 devant la gare de Nossegem pour une marche de manifestation jusqu'au centre fermé).
Où: devant le centre fermé 127bis, à Steenokkerzeel.

Op 5 mei vindt de achtste editie van Steenrock, manifestival tegen de gesloten centra voor vreemdelingen, plaats. Nu muren zich vermenigvuldigen, men steeds meer vreemdelingen het land uitzet, nu het xenofoob geweld stijgt en men meer en meer vrijheidsberovende wetten uitschrijft en de solidariteit onderdrukt, is het dringend om zich tegen deze maatregelen op te staan.
De tijd is gekomen om met een burgerlijk en militant verzet te protesteren tegen dit beleid en tegen hen die het in werking stellen. Ook dit jaar en misschien meer dan ooit willen we ons verzet en onze afwijzing van dit onmenselijke, gewelddadige en discriminerende migratiebeleid uitschreeuwen. We eisen de sluiting van de gesloten centra voor vreemdelingen, deze plaatsen van onrecht en juridische en morele aberratie.
We verwachten jullie talrijk voor centrum 127bis in Steenokkerzeel, vlak bij de luchthaven van Zaventem, voor deze namiddag van solidariteit en protest door muziek!
Wanneer: zaterdag 5 mei van 14 uur tot 18 uur ( afspraak om 13u30 voor het station van Nossegem voor een mars tot aan het gesloten centrum).
Waar: Voor het gesloten asielcentrum 127bis in Steenokkerzeel.

Join us on 5th May at the fences of the 127bis detention centre to denounce the detention of foreigners and to express our support to the detainees!
The eighth edition of the festival to protest against the immigration detention centres will take place on the occasion of Europe Day (when the European Parliament opens its doors to visitors) on 5th May. On that day, Europe is celebrated by the same official institutions which pursue undocumented migrants, close its borders, push refugees to come by sea at the risk of their lives and detain them if they manage to get here. This is not the Europe we want to celebrate. On 5th May, we celebrate the determination of those who fight against these repressive and discriminatory policies.
We hope for many of you to come to the 127bis in Steenokkerzeel, near the Zaventem airport, for this afternoon of solidarity and resistance through music!
When: Saturday, 5th May from 2pm until 6pm (meeting at 1.30pm in front of the Nossegem train station to jointly march to the detention centre).
