The Oregon Zoo has tortured Chendra with bullhooks and cruel breeding. Help send her to a sanctuary now! Elephants do not belong in zoos, but they especially don't belong in the Oregon Zoo. For seven years in a row, it has been named as one of the 10 worst zoos in America by In Defense of Animals. Their use of bullhooks and their unethical breeding program show just how little regard they have for the elephants under their care. There are only 1,500 pygmy elephants left in the wild, and just a handful left in captivity.
