Sign Now Dear friends, From the headline, you would think that I was talking about Biblical times. But I'm not. Right now, in 2019, Brunei is on the verge of implementing a new law that would punish same-sex relationships or any woman who committed adultery with death by stoning. Stoning is literally the practice of throwing rocks at a person until they die. It is slow and torturous and no one deserves it, ever. I don't think I need to explain why this law must be stopped at all costs. Being in a same-sex relationship is not a crime. Neither is it a crimeto cheat on a significant other, no matter how emotionally fraught that may be. Not to mention the fact that the anti-adultery punishment only applies to women. This double standard is maddening. International human rights groups are decrying this law as a terrible abuse. Will you join them by signing this petition?
