not unique to romanticism. These also take place, sadly, in anarchism.
For example, there is a tendency to state that all sexual expression is desirable or that
it can not be recriminated. Moreover, in a manner consistent with the culture of slavery
in which we live, it is argued that a person can do whatever he wants with his sexual
life, regardless of the impact it has on the lives of other people.
From the anarchism certain types of sexuality are proposed, not all. Talking about sexual
freedom does not mean accepting everything. In the context of human sexual life, in the
same way as in the context of political life, it is necessary to act responsibly. Or, in
other words, act always being committed and being coherent with anarchism.
In an anarchist world where freedom prevails, sexual freedom is also included. A sexual
freedom that excludes all authority other than oneself, that excludes any abuse, coercion
and oppression. In this way, although sexual freedom is talked about, sexual behaviors
such as abuses and rapes are rejected.
On the other hand, and related to what has been said so far, each person has different
needs, fears and desires within their sexuality. When sexual practice involves maintaining
relationships with other people, in order to be coherent with anarchism and its ethics, it
is necessary to take into account the needs of each person involved. That is, anarchism
also rejects sexual relationships where one of the people takes advantage of the others,
lies or manipulates them to satisfy only their own needs, forgetting or ignoring the needs
of the rest of the people involved.
Sexual freedom, in the same way as freedom in general, must be both individual and
collective freedom and, therefore, implies acting responsibly both with respect to oneself
and to the group of people.
The anarchist camp, seeking to be a place to experience and live anarchy, seeks to be a
space where people can enjoy their sexuality, with all the diversity that it has. This, as
long as it is carried out in a responsible manner. Therefore, no sexual abuse will be
tolerated in the camp. On the contrary, any sexual relationship that occurs in a consented
and respectful manner will be respected, recognizing the different needs of the people of
the camp.

Saturday 1 June, the 5th Anarchist Book Festival was held in the center of Patras, at the
Esperos Terrace in Georgiou Square. For three days, a crowd of people passed through the
Festival Hall and came into contact with anarchist and kinematic books, attended political
and cultural events in a highly successful organization, both politically and
organizationally, as well as at the level of direction and acceptance, free from the state
and commodity, a place of meeting, interaction, discussion and criticism. ---- As we have
written in the political call: "The aim of the festival is to highlight the wealth of
anarchist, anti-authoritarian and libertarian perceptions, to spread anarchist precepts to
society and especially to the youth of the city at a time when state propaganda against
they resist self-organization and dominate from the bottom, while racism, social
cannibalism, and fiction seem to be the only choices of a society in crisis. At a time
when, within the resistance movements, conditions of deprivation are formed for political
fermentation and deepening, we believe that promoting the culture of self-formation,

in the direction of wider reconstruction of the radical and revolutionary movement. "
