---- On Tuesday the 8th of September at 14:00 we gathered outside the IND office
on the Pieter Callandlaan 1 in Amsterdam. We were there with pamphlets, banners
and protest signs and some black / red flags. At that moment we were there with
more than 10 people. After several minutes two bastard cops arrive on bikes, 1 of
them is the neighborhood cop from police station Postjesweg and he immediately
makes it clear that the protest was not registered and that it is illegal and
that everyone will get a 250 euro fine. We managed to gain some time by stating
that we would discuss amongst ourselves what we would do. The cop left but stayed
in the area. We used this moment to continue handing out pamphlets and by
continuing the protest. It was discussed that the Bastard cop probably meant what
he said and that problems would be very likely.
After 15 minutes the cop returned and we told him that we would break up the
protest and that everyone would be on their way. The bastard seemed to have a
different opinion, a security guard from the IND building spoke to the cop and
was pointing out some people from our group, it was not clear what it was about.
People were getting ready to leave but then the cops started harassing people in
the group. It was not clear why. In the meantime more people arrived and we were
with about 20 people. The harassment of comrades was of course not appreciated
and there was some pulling and pushing back and forth with the cops. After this
ended and more people were leaving the cop jumped on his bike and together with a
cop on a motorbike they sped away. Because we didn't trust it we followed them,
and around the corner, 150 meters away the bastards have thrown two people to the
ground and are in the process of arresting them. Quickly more cops arrive and
also several neighbors start intervening and criticize the heavy handed arrests.
Also now scuffles break out and things get pretty out of hand, a third person is
arrested. At this point there are 8 cops and more are on their way, it is unclear
if a call for assistance has been made. The remaining group gets pushed out of

Around 7pm the first arrestee is released and the hours following the other two
also get released. The arestees did not receive a fine or a summons on their
release. It was stated (not in writing) that the charge was for insulting a
police officer. All 3 were identified, the last one was kept in foreign detention
for a short while but they managed to find out her identity anyway and released
her shortly after.
We, the Anarchist Group Amsterdam, purposely decided not to notify the
municipality of Amsterdam of this protest. We assumed we would never have been
given permission to have a demo outside of the IND office anyway. We also
strongly disagree with registering protests, demonstrations etc, and with this to
ask permission from the state if we can protest or not and how we are supposed to
do it. We also did not expect this many people to show up, because on a weekday
at 2pm people often have other things to do (work / study) and we predicted that
we would be able to get away with it in a small group. Unfortunately not.
Something we did consider (are considering) is that there is a lot of police in
Amsterdam and there is quite some overcapacity because the bastards don't have
much to do in times of Covid-19 and are mostly busy giving out fines to young
people throwing house parties. This while during this pandemic the shopping
streets, shops, companies and distribution centers are overcrowded. Because of
the large numbers of cops in Amsterdam they can act quickly and aggressively. In
a very short time a large number of cops can be brought together and they can act
outside of the law.
We have written before about organizing protests during the Covid-19 pandemic

and finding out what the possibilities are is a process of trial and error and
through collective action we need to eventually find a new practices.
Because of the events that took place on Tuesday December the 8th we are even
more convinced of the necessity and importance of taking direct action. In

The original peoples, nations, tribes and neighborhoods that we are the National
Indigenous Congress, the Indigenous Government Council and the Zapatista Army of
National Liberation, facing the disease of our mother earth, expressed in a
serious pandemic that has struck life and economy of our communities and the
entire world; we hear ourselves in the voice of the native peoples, who shout
from the geographies where they fight and resist against the capitalist war that
disputes indigenous and peasant territories through aggressive extractive
policies throughout the entire national geography; megaprojects of death called
the Interoceanic Corridor in the states of Oaxaca and Veracruz, the Morelos
Comprehensive Project in the states of Morelos, Puebla and Tlaxcala, the Mayan
Train in the states of southeastern Mexico, o International Airport of Mexico
City in the center of the country; the implementation of a set of policies and
mechanisms for the continuation of "free trade" subordinate to the United States
and Canada and to contain migration; to prevent or weaken the organization and
resistance of our peoples, by supplanting the traditional authorities and holding
mock indigenous consultations.
These are policies and megaprojects promoted by the neoliberal government of the
Fourth Transformation, at the service of large global capitals and against the
autonomous organization of our peoples; all of the above with support for
militarization, the implementation of the National Guard and the militarization
of the entire national territory, the complicity of the State-criminal cartels,
the creation of programs that seek to break the community organization such as
Sembrando Vida and the approval of laws favorable to large transnational
consortiums such as the Federal Law for the Promotion and Protection of Native Corn.
The CNI and the CIG -with the Zapatista communities-, being a congress when we
are together and a network when we are separated, we are that collective word

Since the first wave of Covid-19, the French public hospital has paid dearly for
years of budget cuts. With their heads under water, the groups of caregivers
still manage to make it clear that another hospital is possible. ---- When
Emmanuel Macron announces the future confinement on March 12, it is a surprise
for many. However, if the decision of a "total" confinement was taken, and this
despite the repercussions on capitalist profits, it is indeed because the
hospital system was at the end of its rope and that the government could not
afford. politically the hecatomb which was announced. Far from the outbreaks,
many hospitals continued to work in what makes the daily life of the environment:
restrictions, bed closures and suffering at work.
Quickly, the priority of the hospital management was to manage the shortage.
Shortage of suitable professional outfits but also of masks which we quickly
realize that strategic stocks had melted over the years and budget cuts. Hospital
workers were then asked to work with inoperative, sometimes out of date,
equipment. Anger quickly mounted against these endangerments, dubbed by
hygienists who changed their recommendations according to stocks.
Despite the establishment of a military hospital and the transfer of patients to
the least affected regions and neighboring countries, everyone has seen that all
of the beds and services have been eliminated over the years. that were missing then.
Faced with this, large capitalist groups saw a golden opportunity to restore
their image by launching into "patronage", for example offering LVMH
hydro-alcoholic gel, or even Lacoste masks. Initiative received in a mixed way by
hospital workers, amused to access a "luxury" which is usually foreign to them
but aware that these groups would do better to pay their social contributions.
Fortunately, popular initiatives have taken place to help the hospital face the
shortage. In addition to individual donations, the SUD-Éducation and
SUD-Santé-Social federations have attempted to redistribute unused equipment in
schools to hospitals. In addition, Popular Solidarity Brigades were able, in
places, to bring equipment to care structures.
The State, the private sector and popular solidarity

For this reason, it is more than urgent to defend the CMO through solidarity and
popular unity against the eviction of dozens of families threatened by the
reactionary state and its petty accomplice, bourgeois law.
The justice of the people determines that the land belongs to those who live and

Since the first wave of Covid-19, the French public hospital has paid dearly for
years of budget cuts. With their heads under water, the groups of caregivers
still manage to make it clear that another hospital is possible. ---- When
Emmanuel Macron announces the future confinement on March 12, it is a surprise
for many. However, if the decision of a "total" confinement was taken, and this
despite the repercussions on capitalist profits, it is indeed because the
hospital system was at the end of its rope and that the government could not
afford. politically the hecatomb which was announced. Far from the outbreaks,
many hospitals continued to work in what makes the daily life of the environment:
restrictions, bed closures and suffering at work.
Quickly, the priority of the hospital management was to manage the shortage.
Shortage of suitable professional outfits but also of masks which we quickly
realize that strategic stocks had melted over the years and budget cuts. Hospital
workers were then asked to work with inoperative, sometimes out of date,
equipment. Anger quickly mounted against these endangerments, dubbed by
hygienists who changed their recommendations according to stocks.
Despite the establishment of a military hospital and the transfer of patients to
the least affected regions and neighboring countries, everyone has seen that all
of the beds and services have been eliminated over the years. that were missing then.
Faced with this, large capitalist groups saw a golden opportunity to restore
their image by launching into "patronage", for example offering LVMH
hydro-alcoholic gel, or even Lacoste masks. Initiative received in a mixed way by
hospital workers, amused to access a "luxury" which is usually foreign to them
but aware that these groups would do better to pay their social contributions.
Fortunately, popular initiatives have taken place to help the hospital face the
shortage. In addition to individual donations, the SUD-Éducation and
SUD-Santé-Social federations have attempted to redistribute unused equipment in
schools to hospitals. In addition, Popular Solidarity Brigades were able, in
places, to bring equipment to care structures.
The State, the private sector and popular solidarity
However, as a second epidemic wave develops, the shortage of personnel trained in
resuscitation becomes critical. For some hospitals, the Covid was the last straw.
No one has yet quantified the number of hospital quits. But these departures are
significantly felt at the time of the second wave. If reinforcements of
caregivers could be organized in the spring, it is much more difficult this fall,
with regions which are now all affected. An unbearable competition then developed
between public hospitals to attract caregivers.
Much awaited by activists in the sector, the day of mobilization of June 16 did
not live up to expectations. Between restrictions linked to the health context,

a great combativeness.
During the pandemic, the ministry hinted at the possibility of accessing the
historic claim of 300 euros per month and an overhaul of the funding and
organization of the hospital. It is in this context that the consultations of the
Ségur de la Santé opened. The SUD-Health-Social federation quickly slammed the
door of a "consultation" which started with the admission of its president
announcing that she had no control over financial matters. The CGT will go
through the negotiations to finally not sign the conclusions. The memorandum of
understanding will only be signed by organizations that have not or little
participated in the latest events in Health, including June 16, ie FO, CFDT and UNSA.

need to face the pandemic of misery and Covid-19, the struggling poor people
occupied an abandoned land for 20 years to assert the right to housing and
dignified life. ---- Located in the Modubim neighbourhood, the CMO is made up
mostly of black women, men and children, poor workers who like millions of others
in Brazil are fighting and resisting for decent housing and living conditions
amid the advance of a far-right paramilitary government, Bolsonaro-Mourão. The
CMO's resistance began on June 8, 2020, when women, men and children in

fight for the right to housing.

Since then, the CMO has symbolized the practices and ties of solidarity between
poor workers in its historic struggle to free themselves from the oppressions of
the capitalist system that punishes the poor and rewards the rich. This
expression of resistance historically appears in a diffuse way among the people
who have always built practices of mutualism in the daily struggle for the
existence of poor workers and indigenous nations.
In Brazil, in reality, the CMO symbolizes popular insurgency and rebelliousness
against the genocide of indigenous and black peoples. FOB understands that
mutualism is the ability of workers to organize themselves, always developed from
the bottom up. In other words, it is only because of the popular base that the
horizontal and autonomous union between male and female workers is able to build
the appropriation of the conditions for the reproduction of existence, of a
dignified and free life.
In this sense, the CMO presents itself as a beacon of popular resistance, for the
land and sovereignty of those exploited and enslaved by capitalist racism.
Empowering our people physically and politically to resist the militarized,
genocidal, colonial and patriarchal bourgeois state.
Bourgeois justice has not revoked the eviction order that authorizes the
cretinous use of force to destroy the CMO, amid a pandemic that mainly massacres
the people while the powerful continue to profit from the misery of the working
class.
For this reason, it is more than urgent to defend the CMO through solidarity and
popular unity against the eviction of dozens of families threatened by the
reactionary state and its petty accomplice, bourgeois law.
The justice of the people determines that the land belongs to those who live and
work on it. The CMO is organized by the residents' self-management and has built
an emergency negotiation plan, presenting and confirming the real conditions of
the self-organization and collaboration of the rebel people.
