the policy. Yesterday, one of us was punished with an entry in the files for
signing a petition in defense of the dismissed Dr. Malgorzata Trojanska and
daring to post a comment on it. What is happening now at the Pedagogical
University of Krakow is an expression not only of the policy of a specific
rector, but also shows the direction of science in Poland and working conditions
at universities. We do not wish anyone to find themselves in such a situation.
The petition in question was signed by over 1,300 people after the rector of the
UP, prof. dr hab. Piotr Borek dismissed Dr. Malgorzata Trojanska accusing her of

the repressed women and trade unionists from the Pedagogical University and
participation in protests against attacks on the commission of our union.
