In this issue, we have devoted a lot of space to the situation at the border. At
the beginning, we planned to prepare a report on the activity of the anarchistmovement on this topic. ---- However, the situation is dynamic, and the number ofactions taken and their diversity is so large that we would not have enough spaceto include all of them. Therefore, in the newspaper we have published texts onthe events at the borders (we are not just writing about Poland) and migration assuch, which broadly analyze the problem. They were written by people directlyinvolved in helping migrants.We have also published an appeal regarding a cash and material collection. It waslaunched by several groups of the Anarchist Federation to operate moreeffectively near the border and effectively help refugees. These groupsestablished a grassroots, independent from other initiatives, anarchist NoBorders Team coordination, a comprehensive statement of which can also be foundin this no.In addition to being present on the Polish-Belarusian border, anarchists andanarchists engage in various forms of activities in urban centers. We organizeddemonstrations and pickets against the policies of the Polish and Belarusiangovernments in Lódz, Katowice, Poznan and Warsaw. In Wroclaw, in front of theentrance to the Provincial Office, a tent town was established. The occupationlasted a week. In Warsaw, people, incl. associated with the Wilczyce group, wereon a hunger strike, and in Poznan, a huge banner was hung on the building of theVoivodship Office, saying "No man is illegal. Against the European Fortress. Theanarchist milieu in Poznan also prepared a film report about the situation on theborder. The materials used in its implementation were collected during the stayof people from FA Poznan in the vicinity of the area under the state of emergency.Further activities and actions are currently planned. In this issue we also touchon a few other topics. A medical rescuer wrote about the realities of her workand about the postulates of strike by people working in health care. You willalso read an article by a young activist on youth in left-wing parties, and atranslation of a text critical of activism grown in the punk subculture.We are just struggling with the next wave of the pandemic, so this topic was alsoincluded. A major event for the anarchist milieu was the recent visit of theZapatistas who came to Europe to make a peaceful invasion here and to supportnumerous individuals and groups in their local struggles. They spread theirsubversive news also in Poland. In Attack, you will find a comprehensive accountof their stay. You can also read about the Zapatista in the text, which is thenext installment of our film series. There were also other constant topics -architecture, book reviews and a bit of history. This issue also gave rise tointeresting interviews.The limitations of publishing a paper newspaper, unfortunately, prevented us fromwriting about many other interesting and important events. However, we remainvigilant and closely monitor the situation in the country and in the world toprepare valuable analyzes and comments for the next issues. Aware of theaforementioned limitations, we are working on slowly but surely eliminating them.So you can expect Atak to change its face a bit in 2022. We're still working onthe details, so you'll have to wait for them to be discovered.
