developers. He claims that wild re-privatization is only a catchy slogan,
"Rozbrat wants to force us to hand over the plot to them." Guss, however, does
not mention anything about the pressure from developers and tells us that the
plan, which enables further development of Solacz, is a manifestation of the
protection of green areas against development.

The city authorities assume that it is better to lose the city's assets worth
over six million zlotys in order to get rid of Rozbrat and WOMB. To this end, the
president manages the property so that it is taken over by the developer.
Rozbrat, having much less resources from the city authorities, is taking steps to
maintain the public ownership of this part of Solacz, going beyond the squat. How
does the mayor of the city, Jacek Jaskowiak, react to these steps? Some examples
In October this year, thanks to us, the court attempted to dissolve Darex due to
its fictitious nature. The court found that it had such a possibility on the
basis of the evidence we brought. In practice, Darex has limited its activities
to a minimum during the 30 years. First, he bought from his heir land that was
actually owned by the state treasury. The transaction was for a quarter of the
real value of the area, and it took place when the court confirmed that the
disputed fragment of Solacz belongs to the State Treasury, which should be
entered in the land and mortgage register. Darex, however, taking advantage of
the sluggishness of the State Treasury, defeated him and entered the land
register himself. Second, Darex took a loan against the plot of land and
disappeared. So far, for three decades, the company has not paid the city a penny
in property tax, nor has it filed any financial statements.

In September, we appealed to President Jaskowiak to try to dissolve the pole's
company. Jaskowiak honestly replied that the city authorities "do not have time
to deal with it", "let Rozbrat take care of himself" (recording of the president

The president reacted similarly to our and the court's next initiative to defend
this part of Solacz against the developer. This year, we managed to convince the
district court to re-examine the aforementioned purchase transaction by Darex for
a quarter of the plot value. The city authorities did not join the case. They
also ignore the opinion of an expert appraiser commissioned by us, which
indicates the apparent nature of the purchase of the plot by Darex. Although this
is another step on the way to preserving the area worth millions, we have not
managed to convince the president to commission his own expert opinion by the city.

For Jaskowiak, the heavily indebted pole company, which has done nothing for the
city except for the seizure of a plot of the state treasury and turning its
workplace into private ruin, is a more reliable entity than the WOMB awarded by
Poznan residents. Why? Because that's what developers want.

In the comment, Vice President Guss assured that the solutions provided for in
the recently adopted local spatial development plan secure the activities of
Rozbrat and WOMB. Contrary to his claims, the plan, instead of limiting the
development, envisages the possibility of building the disputed plot with
buildings up to 3 floors. In this way, the plan is in line with the interests of
developers seeking to concret Solacz.

Guss's claim that the aim of "anarchists is to force the city authorities to
allocate this area solely to the activities of Rozbrat" is also untrue. Since
2009, we have been repeating invariably that our goal is to limit the development
of the West Greenhouse Wedge. This goal is contrary to the actions of the city
authorities, which approved the plan enabling further development of green areas.

The authorities also mention that they do not have the means to compensate for
the introduction of greener provisions of the plan. This problem would not exist
if they were seriously involved in eliminating the pole company that is wildly
re-privatizing the disputed plot. Taking it over by the state treasury will solve
the problem indicated by the authorities.

All our activities described above are undertaken on our own initiative and
without the support of the president. In our opinion, his activity would be
crucial in saving the West Green Wedge from developers' attempts. If our modest
resources and evidence collected during our free time, after working hours, are
not enough to convince the courts that Darex is an unreliable, socially harmful
entity, Jacek Jaskowiak will be to blame for this condition.
