Geopost ..) is one of the leading employers of undocumented migrants in France!
---- Since it is illegal to employ undocumented migrants, the group goes through
a cascade of subcontracting. ---- La Poste -> DPD -> Derichebourg -> Derichebourg
Interim ---- Derichebourg is also one of the champions of the employment of
undocumented migrants on interim missions in cleaning, waste management,
construction and therefore sorting of postal parcels.

These workers are mostly forced to use aliases and work outside any labor law;
12-hour days after receiving a simple text message, unpaid overtime, competition
until exhaustion, etc.

A fight started to last and to win
These workers are organized into a collective of undocumented migrants (the
CTSPV) and unionized by SUD Poste 91, Solidaires 91 and SUD PTT. The same
collective, already supported by Solidaires, had fought for seven months in 2019
at Chronopost d'Alfortville. He then obtained the regularization of 74 comrades,
27 of whom worked at Chronopost. Extremely rare they had obtained the signatures
of 47 supporters.

The strike indeed promises to be long
A picket line has just moved back to Alfortville to try to regularize those who
had not been in 2019, and these two struggles (Chronopost and DPD) reinforce each
other. The hope of a victory is therefore very present, especially since a
similar fight has just been victorious against the interim RSI box with the
obtaining of 83 CERFA in Genevilliers. They have been on strike for more than a
month and are now nearly a hundred occupying the entrance to their workplace.
They are night and day, on a picket line, which we could almost call a strike
village now. Three barnums, about thirty tents, an electric generator and daily
deliveries of food, jerry cans of water and gasoline, wood etc.

The Union Communiste Libertaire denounces the inhuman conditions in which
undocumented workers are hired, it denounces the responsibility of the State and
the whole system of subcontracting and temporary employment which make these
conditions possible. It provides all its support to the undocumented postal
workers of DPD and Chronopost. Other union struggles must flourish and be
articulated in order to allow workers to be regularized by imposing a balance of
power on the State.
