of the workers of the National Education who see their working conditions
deteriorating day after day. ---- This strike was historic in terms of the rate
of strikers, and was able to outline both attempts at self-organization, but also
the hope of a specific strike movement renewed over time and which could extend
to d other branches of employment.

To obtain real progress, put an end to strikes of expression, build the balance
of power!
This government, like the others, understands only one language: that of the
balance of power that we will succeed in building and imposing on it. In this, a
single strike, however "historical" it may be, cannot suffice. We need to build a
renewed strike movement, which is generalized and self-organized, until we
achieve real progress. Strikes are not only a symbolic tool for expressing our
discontent, they are also a demonstration of force in their ability to block,
they show us that without us, education workers, the school not, forcing the
capitalist economy to operate in slow motion. They are proof of our collective
power and can draw other sectors into the fight. The measures, very insufficient,
announced by the government, prove that it is feverish and that a breach is open
to obtain much more substantial progress on working conditions, jobs and wages
after years of social setbacks.

The 27th and after: let's build unity at the base!
If the bottom of the air is always with the mobilization on our places of work,
the 13 succeeded where the 20 partially failed, that is to say by setting a clear
date when the forces could converge in a common momentum. This lesson should
serve us for the 27th, but also for the week after and the next dates: our
collective responsibility is to avoid any dispersal of forces and to work on a
clear strategy that makes sense for the majority of our colleagues. It is not a
question of building a soft consensus, by seeking to rally certain trade union
organizations stuck for ages in the social compromise (UNSA, CFDT), but of
coordinating, of building unity at the base, with our colleagues in struggle and
our unions. It is up to us to multiply the points of exchange and meetings
between colleagues from the same place and to make our general assemblies places
of democratic decisions and the cement of self-organization allowing the renewal
of the strike, until to victory! Because our fights join those of the rest of the
proletariat exploited by the capitalists or the state-patron, let us make January
27 a real springboard for the generalization of the strike. There is still time
before these presidential elections without perspective for our class to impose a
"1st social round" capable of putting the social question back on the agenda!
