region) announced the abolition of regional subsidies to Sciences Po Grenoble. Incase, an alleged "ideological drift and communitarian" which refers to one yearin local reactionary controversy amid accusations "of islamogauchisme" and"wokisme". ---- Last March, Klaus Kinzler, professor at the IEP who had harasseda colleague in social sciences following the title of a round table on racism,saw his Islamophobic remarks denounced by student unionists. There will follow anoperation of victimization on his part and a national reactionary controversycarried out jointly by the right and the extreme right. The local far-right willalso make it its hobbyhorse, the student "union" UNI even going so far as todemand the dissolution of UNEF Grenoble. Despite his numerous appearances in themedia where he claimed to be a victim of "cancel culture" and "wokes», Kinzler issuspended by the management of the IEP on Monday, December 20 for having failedin his obligation to reserve. Note the reluctance of the management of SciencesPo Grenoble in this affair, which does not suspend it for its racist remarks,however denounced for a long time by the students of the IEP.It is this suspension which will motivate the decision of Wauquiez to put an endto the regional subsidies to the IEP. This will be immediately applauded byMarine Le Pen, Eric Zemmour but also Jean-Michel Blanquer. The minister is not athis first attempt, since he had already distinguished himself alongside theMinister of Higher Education Frédérique Vidal in his hunt for "Islamogauchismwhich plagues the university".We observe that this measure and this controversy are anchored in the DNA of theextreme right, combining contempt for academic freedoms, anti-unionism andanti-social overtones. Indeed, regional grants were mainly used for scholarshipsand social actions. Their elimination will only reinforce student precariousness.We also analyze that a noisy and muscular far-right dictates the way forward forthe institutional right. These are the slogans of UNI and Zemmour's supporterswhich are taken up by ministers and applied by a regional president.The far right is and will always be the enemy of academia.
