---- January 13 this year. The National Commission and Employee Initiatives and13 company committees of OZZ IP adopted a solidarity position with the tradeunion "Przeróbka". We publish its content below: ---- The Polish NationalWorkers' Initiative of Trade Unions fully supports the demands of the employeesof the Bogdanka Coal Mine in Lublin, submitted in a collective dispute by the"Przeróbka" Trade Union. ---- Bogdanka's crew on the surface and undergroundperform hard work that has a strong impact on health. Every year, this workbrings the company huge profits. According to the official financial report, LWBogdanka recorded almost 380 million of pure profit during the 2020-21 pandemic,and over PLN 1,100 million in the last four years. At that time, the ManagementBoard paid itself PLN 22 million in salaries and awards. Bogdanka's crew demandsan increase in wages for all employees, including the worst-paid ones, as well asan increase in the amount of a regenerative meal, or real compensation for commuting.The management board of LW Bogdanka has not yet agreed to Przeróbka's demands, soin the new year the union decided to enter into a collective dispute. Managementis trying to block the dispute and break down worker unity. In this light, thesteadfast attitude of the Przeróbka trade union deserves the attention and fullsupport of all independent trade unions in the country.
