that we invite you to the fourth yearly Vrije Bond Congress. ---- The congresswill take place from August 26-28, 2022 at the campsite ‘Tot Vrijheidsbezinning'in Appelscha. All members of the Vrije Bond are invited. The congress isorganised on a yearly basis so we can come together and talk about the future ofthe Vrije Bond and the wider anarchist movement. ---- We want to mainly createspace to discuss plans for the (middle-to-)long term and ideological topics. Itis also the perfect place to meet anarchists and Vrije Bond members from yourarea or who are interested in the same topics.All Vrije Bond Members are welcome at the campsite starting from Friday, August26th, onwards. We will inform you later about the exact start and finish of theinformal and formal parts of the programme.ReaderThe congress preparation group will make a reader. Along with all the necessarypractical information, this will also contain all the concrete proposals anddiscussion texts which have been submitted by members in the run-up to the congress.Do you have a proposal or something you want to discuss during the congress? Sendit to us and we will add it to the reader.We will send you an email with more info about the reader, including a deadlinefor contributions. But feel free to already start brainstorming, dreaming andwriting!Campsite & practical stuffThe congress will take place at the ‘kampeerterrein Tot Vrijheidsbezinning'. Thisis an anarchist camping where no alcohol or drugs are used, in Appelscha,Friesland. We want to ask everybody who comes to bring a tent and sleeping gear.We sincerely hope that in August 2022 the corona virus won't hold our lives inits grip as much as it does now. However, we will take into account all possiblescenarios and do as much as we can to ensure a safe congress. Since 2020 and 2021proved itis possible to have a feasible and still fun coronaproof congress, weare optimistic about this.We aim to make the congress as accessible as we can. This is why we ask everybodyto leave their dogs at home. Are you unable to sleep in a tent? Let us know. Wecan arrange a sleeping place in the bungalow or one of the caravans at the terrain.Do you have specific needs that we have to take into account? Let us knowbeforehand what your needs are.(vrijebondcongres@riseup.net).Do you have children you want to bring? Of course you can! We really want to helpout in the child care during the congress. It would help us enormously if we knowhow many kids and what age they are. Do you have kids you want to bring? Let usknow how many and what age they are, so we can take this into account when makingthe children's program.Organizing a congress is a lot of work. The preparation group is veryenthusiastic and energetic, but more helping hands are always nice. DO you wantto help us out?
