The demonstration took place on May 19 in front of the Ministry of the Interior:
Kamarád / i, ---- Krisa was formed six years ago by members of the clinic's teamwho wanted to address the social issues and problems of the time. Gradually, shetransformed into a group that brought together people who think differently aboutsocial work. Critically and radically. We have seen systemic phenomena andmechanisms that keep people in exclusion and poverty. We saw the social system asa system that should supervise and punish rather than care and support. ---- Thisis where Krisa's goals came from. Raising awareness of social work as a tool forpolitical change, alerting to injustice and systemic errors in the social systemmatrix and educating social workers so that they do not blindly accept governmentsocial policy regulations and procedures, but are able to do so, for example inconjunction with their target groups, I refuse and force change. At present, Krisa sees the government tragically failing again - like itspredecessors in recent years. Solidarity is coming in waves and care is still notan integral and unquestionable part of our lives. The housing crisis continues todeepen. People are bothered by shamefully low wages and income and especiallyproperty inequality continues to grow. As many as a fifth of the population is atrisk of falling into poverty. Labor offices, social unions of the city districts, the non-profit sector and the whole area of care in general have long beenoverloaded and underestimated. The crisis is affecting not only the employees, but the entire care sector, thepeople who depend on their help. The congestion of social services has increasedin recent months. This is due to a meager response to the energy crisis, risinginflation.During the pandemic, systemic racism also manifested itself again, especially inthe field of education, when dozens of children and students disappeared withouta trace due to the unavailability of digital tools. Last but not least, it isnecessary to mention the feminization of all hard work, but also poverty, becauseit is precisely and especially women who are in the so-called first line in timesof crisis and at the same time they are most affected by their economic consequences. To the same extent that the government fails towards the locals, it fails in itsrole towards the people fleeing the war. On the one hand, it does not act andagain transfers all responsibility to NGOs and volunteers, on the other hand, itputs only so-called dirty work on these people and refuses to invite and listento them as an advisory voice in resolving this crisis. The coordinator forUkraine was the Austrian minister, who seems to know very little about crisismanagement, but very quickly took on the role of a police officer.Czech refugee policy has been established as purely repressive for twenty years, and this trend continues. The Prime Minister took pictures of Orbán's razor fencea few years ago during the Balkan crisis, and there is no reason to believe thathe has changed his attitudes since then. On the Polish-Belarusian border, Syrianrefugees continue to suffer, and at the Central Station and in the Trojan tenttown, non-ethnic Ukrainians are wandering, especially among the Roma, who areunlucky not to match the desired shade of the "right" refugee in color. The ministry is operating with an argumentative trick on dual citizenship. However, only a fraction of these people have this legal status, and moreover, many with Ukrainian-Hungarian citizenship actually come from Ukraine, andHungarian citizens are only on paper, due to Orbán's specific policy. Accordingto Martin Rozumek of the Refugee Aid Organization, there are currently elevenlegal situations in which refugees may find themselves and for which they willprobably be rejected. However, this must not be based on a situation where theyfind themselves without adequate security and facilities during the detectionprocess.Unprecedented racism and segregation emanate from the whole process. Becausedarker refugees are primarily screened. The Offenses Act states:"According to § 49 par. 1 let. d) and e) the offense is committed by a person whorestricts or prevents a member of a national minority from exercising the rightsof members of national minorities and also by a person who harms another for hisor her national minority or ethnic origin, race, color, sex, sexual orientation, language, religion or belief, its political or other opinion, membership oractivity in political parties or political movements, trade unions or otherassociations, its social origin, property, gender, state of health or marital orfamily status . "We, on behalf of Krisa, believe that the substance of the offense has beenfulfilled and, in accordance with this suspicion, we will report the offense tothe Austrian Minister, who, as Minister of the Interior and Refugee Coordinator, has direct responsibility for the situation. It is not possible for us to measure with a double meter in order to refuse tohelp people who, if they decide to go further west, suddenly have no problem.Enormous institutional racism, moreover documented by television cameras, ishappening here and here before our eyes and we will not watch quietly.Refugees welcome, Austrians pull!https://www.afed.cz/text/7666/uprchlici-vitejte-rakusani-tahnete_________________________________________A - I N F O S N E W S S E R V I C EBy, For, and About AnarchistsSend news reports to A-infos-en mailing listA-infos-en@ainfos.caSPREAD THE INFORMATION
