concern the (legal and illegal) bourgeoisie and its attendants. But the reality
is different. Gender-based violence, rape and murder are not just for the rich.
They are phenomena that are observed throughout the social body, regardless of
the class position of the perpetrators. However, they all have in common the
perception of the body and other people as an extension of their property and the
struggle for domination and power over the weak.

It would also be very convenient emotionally to say that this is how society has
become and that this did not happen in the past. No, this is a huge lie. These
were ALWAYS happening, things might have been worse in the past. What has changed
is that now the victims have started talking and defending their position and
that a large part of society has swelled up and supported them.
