But for us, Graine d'Anar group, memberof the Anarchist Federation, we can only be surprised that other situations arenot taken into account. ---- Today, the President of the French Republic, Macron,is also "Co-Prince of Andorra". And on the territory of Andorra abortion isstrictly prohibited. It is therefore quite surprising to see the Frenchgovernment want to "constitutionalize" abortion but not put pressure wherepossible since management is up to it. ---- In the same way, seeing the EuropeanUnion stepping up to the plate surprises us: Malta, a member country of the EU,is today a territory where abortion is prohibited! Is there not a certainhypocrisy there?Let's be clear: for us, anarchists, the body of women and of the people concernedis theirs and the decisions that concern it are only a matter of an absoluteright to do what we want with our body.For us, anarchists, the enemies of this right are known: patriarchy and religions.All the people who say they defend the right to abortion and to women or peoplewith uterus to be masters of their bodies, but who refuse to fight religions tomake them disappear are tartuffes. No religion is for freedom. As long as theyexist, they will be there to break the freedom of women and people with wombs todispose of their bodies.The law is only a means, within the framework of a state and not totallydemocratic world, to preserve progress, but it is never an achievement that noone can go back on. We must always remain vigilant and fight for rights toendure, but also for them to become universal! We cannot bear that abortion, forexample, is not accessible to all women and people with uterus on the planet.To break this, we know, it is necessary to make religions disappear, to abolishborders and to create the conditions for real equality between the sexes.
