In response to the Turkish attack on all fronts in Rojava, we too wish to
relaunch a moment of solidarity and mobilization in defense of the revolutionaryspirit of the experience underway in northern Syria. ---- Everyone is invited tobe there tomorrow Tuesday 19 July at 19.00 in Campo San Giacomo. ---- Here is theappeal launched at the international level: ---- "Together we stand up againstNATO, together we will destroy Turkish fascism, together we will defend therevolution and together we will fight for Rojava. ---- To all the rise up forrojava networks, to all the friends of the revolution and to all the comradesfighting against fascism. Today, on July 7, 2022, the autonomous administrationdeclared a general state of emergency for all regions of northeastern Syria. Inrecent weeks, attacks by the Turkish state on all fronts of the rojava, with gasand massive artillery bombardments, have intensified intensively.At the same time, comrades and civilians are targeted and killed by drones on adaily basis. After the latest NATO meeting in Madrid it became clear how NATO andits key players: the US, Germany, Great Britain, France and Italy have givenTurkey the green light for a new invasion of northern Syria. At the moment thesituation is becoming more intense every day, Turkish mercenaries are mobilizedat the border, heavy weapons are brought to the border and large military convoyshave been sent to the region.We cannot say exactly when there will be an escalation of the situation, but onething is clear, the escalation is imminent. We need to understand what thismeans. In a few days we will celebrate the 10th anniversary of the revolution.Ten years ago, on 07/19/2012, the people of Kobane took their fate in hand,liberated their territory and started the Rojava revolution. Since then thepeople of Rojava, in the most difficult conditions and with enormous sacrifices,have built their lives and their territory with their bare hands. This revolutionhas spawned a resurgence of internationalism in the 21st century and created areality of struggle that is inspiring for us all.All the successes of the past decade are at risk right now. A new invasion ofTurkey in Rojava will either mean the end of the socialist project of Rojava orit will become the reason for the collapse of Turkish fascism. The region herewill fall in a dark era or the sun of freedom will shine high in the sky andshine with hope on the horizon, towards the four directions of the world.For this reason, we appeal to everyone to understand the gravity of the situationand to prepare themselves accordingly. Send your solidarity to Rojava on July19th, get ready for day X, build local rise up for Rojava initiatives and becreative yourself.
