For some time now, there has been a systematic persecution of those who
participate in different struggles in the streets. Attempts are being made todiscipline and frighten organizations and activists with arrests and seizures.---- In recent years we have seen that imprisonments are prolonged with differentexcuses, to impose the fear of participating in social demands. ---- In thiscontext, since March 2022, federal judge Luis Osvaldo Rodriguez has held threepeople accused of the crime of public intimidation without any evidence againstthem. ---- In the early hours of November 23, 2021, an anonymous group carriedout an escrache against the front of the newspaper Clarín, an event that left astain on the front of the building as the only balance. An unprecedentedinvestigation was carried out by coordinated forces, including the Anti-TerroristInvestigation Unit. The boys currently in prison were accused of appearing amongthe Facebook contacts of another defendant who is already free, or for sharingwith him a WhatsApp group about support for the Mapuche people.
