Statement of the Russian regional section of the International Workers'
Association ---- WE DO NOT MATTER WHICH CLIQUE WILL FORM THE GOVERNMENT - IT ISIMPORTANT FOR US TO LIVE BETTER! ---- We demand real freedom of assembly,rallies, strikes, trade union activities! ---- We demand an end to theanti-social policy: the policy of low wages and the systematic decline in realincomes of the general population, the destruction of social guarantees, thecommercialization of education and medicine, privatization, the constant priceincrease ... ---- We demand an end to "economic reforms", from whichentrepreneurs, bankers and officials are getting richer, and ordinary people aregetting poorer and poorer. All these measures must be lifted immediately!We demand to abolish the shameful law against "extremism", to stop thearbitrariness of the overt and secret police, petty and big bosses: people needrights, not repressions and exactions! Our cities and villages are for residents,not officials!What we need is not "fair elections" in which "Putinists", liberals,"pseudo-reds" and browns are fighting over who will tear three skins from us. Weneed a decent life!We demand:- raising the level of wages to the average European level- automatic salary increase, in accordance with the price increase- 6 hour work day and 5 day work week without pay cuts- paid leave for a period of at least 1 month and paid sick leave for all workers- reduction and freezing of prices for basic goods and services- prohibition of layoffs without the consent of the labor collective- free medicine, education, urban transport and housing and communal services- the complete abolition of the "pension reform" of 2018Any government that does not accept these demands must leave immediately!We do not believe that representative democracy with its elections, presidents,governments and Dumas will be able to solve our problems. They have no right todecide and speak for us.
