bored with dry meetings, formal demonstrations, and being told that we have toread certain texts to convince people that anarchism is worth their time. We havehad enough of passivity as a result of feeling that we must do everything right.---- As anarchists we really want everything, but what we want most right now isto have some fun. ---- We believe that anarchy should be a verb; not just a bunchof ideas you have in your head, but actually executing those ideas. We think thatbeing an anarchist means that we have to fight for a world worth living in, andwe believe that a world worth living in requires without more feelings of joy.Only we ourselves can make that happen.This is a call to action for an Anarchist Week of fun. From August 14 to 21, wewant all anarchists to join the parties, play pranks, go wild, and have a littlemotherfucking fun.There are many ways to get involved and we encourage creativity and innovation.But if you don't know how to have fun (as we often do), here are some suggestions;Throw a party. Have an orgy. Ding dong the mayor. Break things. Make a fancy mealfor your friends. Climb something really high and see what it looks like upthere. Play a friendly joke with a different milieu. Play a mean prank on thecity. Have a dance party in the street. Throw a surprise party for a dog. See ifyou can put your entire fist in your mouth. Disable a parking meter. Try hormonesfor fun. Drop a banner. Piss on a cop's grave. Sabotage an open house in yourneighborhood. Shit post IRL. The world is your playground.
