 Invitation ---- Eight years ago the Anarchist League in Rio de Janeiro held the

1st General Anarchist Forum in the city of Rio de Janeiro - Brazil. An anarchist
social, political space was created to think, debate and promote anarchist
experiences and practices openly. From this 1st FGA was founded the Anarchist
Federalist Initiative in Brazil, which will join the International of Anarchist
Federations at the 2016 Congress in Frankfurt. ---- The FGA was born itinerant
creating a space of meeting and convergence where it takes place. Individuals and
local collectives in the country participate, exchange methodologies, discuss
practices, resistances, struggles against capitalism, promote socio-economic
self-management experiences, present artistic achievements. We experience
anti-authoritarian sociability federatively in a libertarian microcosm guided by
equality and social justice with dignity and integrity. A free social experiment
where we seek and share with social movements and interested society.

Four FGAs were held: in Rio de Janeiro - 2014 (Liga Anarquista - RJ), Salvador -
2015 (Maloca Libertária), Campinas - SP - 2016 (Fenikso Nigra), São Paulo - 2017
(Coletivo Aurora Negra). For three years we did not carry out the FGA due to lack
of financial resources, lack of a headquarters/collective to carry it out, the
Coronavirus19 pandemic. Now, with joy, we invite all anarchist organizations,
collectives, individuals in Brazil, and in the four corners of the planet, to
participate in the 5th FGA in Espírito Santo, between 8 and 10/11/2022.

The theme of the 5th FGA: Anarchist roots: experiences and popular struggles. It
is the result of our reflection, practices, memory and history of anarchism, of
the various social movements, of the political conjuncture in Brazil and in the
contemporary world. We note a moment of reflux in anarchist movements, social
movements and the reappearance of fascist movements in Brazil and in the world.
We note the continuation of the long-term war against indigenous peoples such as
indigenous peoples in Brazil, Mexico, Venezuela, Peru, Bolivia, Chile. The mining
multinationals of the northern hemisphere contaminate and deforest the forests,
agribusiness poisons the planet, monoculture and agriculture kill the forest,
kill the rivers, kill indigenous peoples and promote diseases such as the
Coronavirus Pandemic19. The burning of fossil fuel, air conditioning, rampant
consumerism, the climate crisis, wars in the northern hemisphere for economic
interests lead humanity to the global cataclysm.

The 5th FGA is the moment when we believe that we are contributing positively to
looking at these problems, talking about them, looking for alternatives,
providing solutions and gaining more respect and freedom for those who work, the
precarious and the unemployed, joining forces to defend our planet and creating
ways of harmonious coexistence with nature of which we are an inseparable part.

The Coletivo Libertário Grande Vitória and the Anarchist Federalist Initiative in
