Now, it is understood that a union is an organizational tool for workers to fight
through direct action for better economic conditions. Therefore, it seems
somewhat out of place to raise the need among students to organize themselves in
a union, because a large number of these are not yet linked to a work activity.

However, it must be understood that the current education system and model are
oriented towards the training of "professionals" who in the future will sell
their strength to work for a salary, in many cases. Likewise, during this
training process, injustices, inequality and authoritarianism are present.

Therefore, the problems in the student sphere, from an anarcho-syndicalist
perspective, go further, since they directly hit the working class. Who in many
cases will not have the necessary resources to ensure their access and
permanence, families indebted to private entities, condemned to receive education
without criteria of dignity of life, additionally, in the future they are forced
to submit to jobs with terrible conditions .

Hence, anarcho-syndicalism raises the need to expand its action in the
educational field, with the aim of claiming a free and comprehensive education,
capable of transforming the individual and society, but not as an instrument of
domination and privilege. An education in which there is no division of manual
and scientific labor.

Likewise, the student's union organization must allow their progress hand in hand
with the labor movement that will welcome them in a few years, to intervene and
organize the world of work in which they will be immersed in the future. But
fundamentally, to prepare in the search for a new world, for a society capable of
providing the necessary means to achieve freedom and possible well-being for all.
