 We were more than 4,000 in the streets of Nantes this Thursday morning at the

call of the CGT, Solidaires and the FSU, mainly around the demand for wages. ----
A mobilization which was not ridiculous, but which unfortunately hardly gathered
beyond union activists and mainly from the usual sectors and companies. ----
Unsurprisingly, our social camp, therefore, did not seize this day which will
thus remain of the order of the traditional "return to the union". And yet... we
know how the situation of millions of people is becoming a little more untenable
every day in the face of soaring prices. We know how finishing the month is an
increasingly central and shared concern. The discrepancy between the seriousness
of the situation and the weak mobilization of September 29 is not only explained
by a lack of communication from the unions, or by tactical choices on the methods
of mobilization etc... Of course, the unions of struggles need to be reinforced
and animated to prepare more and more widely the mobilizations upstream to better
succeed them. But that's not all. What we need is a massive entry into action of
our class, that of employees, the unemployed, youth and retirees. The social
crisis in which we are gradually sinking will provoke its share of reactions,
revolts... When? In what form? With what intensity? Hard to say. But it is likely
that these social explosions surprise us and destabilize us. All the more reason
to actively prepare for it.

This mobilization day of September 29, we were right to do it all the same, to
make our voices heard, our demands and quite simply because it allowed us to
discuss with colleagues, including those who did not mobilize. It allowed us to
find ourselves, between activists from different boxes, different sectors...
And if it's very far from enough, it's not nothing either.
