However, there is a lot of everyday help and union work hidden behind blank media
channels. In the last few months, our members have again helped each other with a
variety of problems: company groups have been set up in companies, workers from
agriculture and horticulture are currently organizing an industry network, we
took action against layoffs and wage cuts, helped us with debts, problems with
the Job center, the tax return and the residence permit, informed Ukrainian
workers about their rights in Germany and much more. ---- In order to be able to
do all this, many of our members continued their education, including this coming
weekend at the FAU summer school with a large number of workshops. In addition,
we have grown by a third again in the last year and have established grassroots
groups that are intended to serve as low-threshold access and the first point of
contact for mutual help in the union. As trade unionists, we didn't really have a
summer break, but we did have many great and empowering experiences with which we
also want to tackle the current challenges of inflation and a potential cold winter.

So if you don't hear from us, it doesn't mean that nothing is happening, but
rather that we don't get around to writing about it right now.
