As an Assembly of Anarchists for Social and Class Emancipation we have carried
out a series of propaganda actions in view of the general strike on Wednesday 9November and against the looting of the social base, which is constantlyintensifying through the continuous anti-social and anti-labor restructurings,through which the state- capitalist system targets every manifestation of sociallife, constantly devaluing basic social needs (health, education, housing, food,transportation). On October 20th, we intervened with banners, posters and textsin the health strike mobilization in pl. Mavilis, on October 25th and November3rd we carried out microphone interventions at the Syngrou-Fix metro station andat the ISAP station in Ano Patisia respectively, while with our propagandamaterial we were in the neighborhoods of the center of Athens.Only the total overthrow of the state and capitalism, the social expropriation ofthe wealth that we ourselves produce and wean off a caste of rulers and theorganization of the struggle for Social Revolution for a world of commonownership, peace, solidarity and freedom can justify the desires and the realneeds of the oppressed and exploited.Everyone in the general strike on Wednesday 9/11 at 11.00 in HauteaBelow is the text of the meeting invitationAGAINST STATE & CAPITALIST BARVARIANCEAND THE FURTHER EXPLOITATION OF THE SOCIAL BASEThe successive crises of the state-capitalist system are not the result of randomevents but arise from its very contradictions caused by the incurable conflictimposed by its basic principle, the exploitation and oppression of man by man.Political and economic elites instrumentalize crises so that the system canperpetuate its existence, increase its profits, expand its power, and deepen itsdominance over societies and nature. Thus, in all the length and breadth of theearth, launches an all-out attack against the peoples.The outbreak of war in Ukraine after Russia's military invasion is the latestevent to highlight the deep rot of the state-capitalist system that no longer hasanything to promise those at the bottom beyond war, refugees, disease, poverty ,impoverishment, control and subjugation. The sharpening of intra-imperialistrivalries for the dominance of wealth-producing sources, for their management andthe expansion of the "sphere of influence" of each power bloc combined with theconstant desire of states and bosses to maximize their power and profits have, onthe other hand once, resulting in the establishment of a nightmarish reality forthe lower social segments of the entire world. First of all for the peoples whoare experiencing the horrors of war and refugees and immediately after for allthe rest who accept both the consequences of the looting of every field ofprovision of the basic social goods for survival and the further tightening ofcontrol, surveillance, repression and the conditions of exploitation and oppression.In the midst of a deep overall systemic crisis, the state capitalist systemaccelerates restructurings that target every manifestation of social life,devaluing basic social needs, work, health, education, housing, transportation.The state, faithful to the neoliberal model followed since the years of thememorandum in the Greek area, continues to increase the cost of living at evenmore intensive rates, while uninsured and precarious work, flexible hours, workintensification, privatizations and management from the bosses of all our basicneeds are points that respond to capitalism's need to exacerbate class inequalityand completely devalue our lives. While conditions for violent socialtransformation are the change of social consciousness and the neutralization ofsocial and class resistances.This condition, combined with the ravaged landscape as shaped by the murderousstate management of the pandemic - with the tragic consequence of the death ofmillions of people around the world and more than 33,000 in the Greek area todate, where all the Greek state offered was wild repression of social and classresistances in their entirety and the additional dissolution of the NHS, with itscomplete abandonment, with mergers of hospital units and privatizations and withits non-staffing with the necessary personnel - are now leading the entire socialbase to violent impoverishment and the class weaker to find it difficult to covertheir most basic needs for their survival. Household bills and production costsincreased in a short period of time like never before. The price of electricity,gas and fuel skyrocketed, surely taking all products and services with them.Basic goods such as bread and sunflower oil reached previously unimaginableheights. In this way, the ability of the poor to meet their basic needs isreduced, resulting in the total impoverishment of their lives, since they areunable to secure even the basics in terms of survival. The housing issue with theconstant increase in rents has condemned a large part of the social base to beunable to cope and at the same time the new bankruptcy code threatens thousandsof families with eviction from their homes. The so-called "real economy" is onceagain flirting with a total collapse.Today, when the state and capitalist attack on the great social majority isescalating from the passing of the law to curtail demonstrations, the abolitionof the 8-hour shift and the attack on the right to strike, the liberalization oflayoffs to the absolute deprecation of the good of public health, the educationalrestructuring of blockades, subjugation and repression, the state repressivestaffs aim to strike the world that stands up against state and capitalistbrutality and furiously suppress any militant activity that attempts todemonstrate the rotten world of power and overturn. From the murderous attack onthe 3rd Freedom Festival of Occupied Spaces and Collectives within the AUTH, thebeating of labor and strike movements, such as at the Malamatina factory inThessaloniki, the arrests and beatings by the repression forces that have campedin parks, squares, hills and universities to the continuous and savage beatingsof the demonstrations in the center of Athens and the fabricated indictments andprosecutions of anarchist activists.In the face of modern totalitarianism, the moment has come once again to putforward dignity, resistance, solidarity. Against precision, the devaluation ofour lives, impoverishment and oppression, against wars and nationalism, againststates and bosses that oppress our lives to intensify social and class struggles.Let us all stand together on the road and struggles of social resistance andclass solidarity. To fight collectively and from below against our oppressors, tostrengthen and guard the social and class resistances that are the target ofrepression and to organize new ones. Without having any illusions about the roleof institutions, without offering any consent to the management of our lives,without taking a single step back from what we have conquered and which areconstantly at stake and making the spaces where we work, study and live centersof resistance and match. In the face of war, which is the only way of salvationfor the state and capitalist system, in the face of the plan to exterminate theexploited and the oppressed, in the face of nationalism, fascism and imperialism,the only hope is international solidarity between the peoples, the organizedcounterattack of the below.
