People talk about politics and many things are said about it: that politics is
fundamental, that politics is useless, that everything is political and that itis best to be apolitical. It may be useful to reflect on this schizophrenicdebate by considering the link that this concept has with the organization of thesocial. In this regard, it is said that without politics there is noorganization, that politics makes organization difficult, that it is inevitableto do politics when we organize ourselves or that we can choose not to dopolitics and be organized, among other views.So let's give this a view that includes existing antagonistic social classes. Inthis sense, we can say that the bourgeoisie, which proposes a/them mode(s) ofdoing politics, has and imposes methods of organizing the social.The bourgeoisie (and the union bureaucracy that they use) proposes theorganization by opposition, in order to promote a structural dispute for power.Its ideological base tells us that society is like that, pure conflict, and theforums of political struggle are the stage where the opposites reachconciliation, by any method, and anything goes to hold power. Thus, this dynamicgenerates the construction of positions and counter positions in all spaces wheresocial issues are discussed, because one cannot exist without fighting for power.This results in the CGT unions, for example, being organized based on thestruggle for power, leadership, direction, always with the political logic of theopposition, of course... because the union bureaucracy works for the bourgeoisie.But, in order to escape from the bourgeois proposal, we have to define that thetrue opposition that binds today's society is the one that divides us into enemysocial classes, with no possibility of conciliation.Why generate pacts with the enemy as an organizational practice?They propose us to engage in politics, link up and organize ourselves with ourenemy class, which, to be free, we can only destroy. For this reason, politics orthe organization of the social by opposition, by power, is only useful for theperpetuation of domination, it only serves the bourgeoisie.Why do we proletarians need that type of organization, that politics?If we workers live the same reality, we have the same problems, which are solvedin the same way for everyone: eliminating exploitation and oppression. None ofthat policy works for us.Politics, understood as the possibility of organizing ourselves by opposingrealities and wills, is an obstacle to our emancipation. We must beanti-political, anti-conciliatory. Stop wasting time looking for a position thatis comfortable for the enemy. Because it plunges us further into slavery. Why arewe going to organize with our class enemies? Why do we want the organization byopposition that does not lead us to anything productive, that does not solveanything?The only organization that works for us is the one that is carried out within theclass, where we do not need to establish harsh and antagonistic politicalpositions because we make the agreement with our proletarian brothers and sisters.We just need a pact of solidarity. That is what built the Argentine labormovement at the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th. That iswhat was created in 1901: the FORA.If politics is organization by opposition, we are anti-political. If theorganization is through the agreement between proletarians to achieve theiremancipation, we are organizationists.
